  1. thats an excedy 3 puck fast road jobby, ive litterally just ordered one. how long have you had the car with that clutch in it for dude? interested to see how long it will last at like 180+ brake
  2. ide like to think my car looks fairly mean, i mean, its a glanza, so its never gonna look that mean, but it gets driven hard atlease for a minute or so every single time I drive it. what i dont do is hammer it in daft places, gotta lot of country roads round here which is handy
  3. lol if i was one of ure neighbours Ide be so pissed with you lmao....good work!
  4. paul how much did you notice the difference with the head port? I had mine done by tm developments just over a month ago and noticed it pulls really hard top end, has helped me much with lag but ive noticed it still really really wants to go above like 6000rpm
  5. I think its pretty cool, but, sport?? lol how can it be a sport man
  6. out of everything I sam i noticed you definatly wernt fucking about, nice driving, I just know thats exactly how im gonna be when I get on track. Thats probably got a hell of a lot to do with why I havent done it yet haha
  7. i got few things left on the list before mine gets tracked, but it shall appen I tell youu
  8. been looking into it, and I think that the reason you usually need to remove that engine mount to change it is purely for clearence, however, ive never done it before, but i think by jacking the engine up on that one mount will create some clearance from below, enabling me to change the pump. Im not sure though really, Ile have a look when im down there, I dont think im gna bother anyways, just gonna change box oil and bearing and maybe the seals
  9. ahhhh thas gay u do need to remove that mount to change water pump I think, there goes my secret squirell plan, I thought I had a good idea there aswell
  10. ahh well my good man theres 3 engine mounts, 2 of them are on the gearbox, so when the gearbox is off, the engine is hanging on one mount, smash a jack under there to lift it up and you create an angle, making clearence between the chassis and the engine
  11. I will be after better figures eventually, but the clutch i have is holding atleast for now anyways, may just do the bearing :/
  12. yeah could be man. Im also wondering wether or not I may aswell go organic exedy clutch while im there
  13. ok ile have a look for that, can they be bought from toyota or somewhere if it is knackered? main reason I say is im strong on servicing the car as its done alot of miles, like 130'000, and to my knowledge, the water and oil pump have never been changed, just about everything else has, cambelt obvs, head gasket, etc etc
  14. basically my clutch release bearing is rattling its tits off so im going to get on with it and change it. my question is, what will i need? obviously the bearing, new gearbox oil. should i get new gearbox seals? as with a small pinch they can fail. but mainly, while the gearbox is off the engine I will have better access to the cambelt side of the engine, would now be a good time to change oil and water pump? anything else?? cheers
  15. my two tickets and stand pass are sold to andybill

  18. I cant believe ive never seen this thread before. This is by all means my favourite starlet bar none. Im stuck between two problems, being original, but wanting mine to look exactly like yours does. Im sure u wouldnt mind if i ran some over fenders on the front some black 16x8 rota slipstreams with a knarly offset. ahh im jelous, I will have a cruise front end one day
  19. yeah I agree phil, i think the normal bumper and lack of spoiler look really cool and different, adding a spoiler is just adding weight
