if its tracking and its pullin really badly you should be able to notice it when lookin at your wheels with the steering goin straight forward. make it so one wheel is straight and see hpw the other one sits. Russell

well i think fuel cut is at like 0.8bar or something close so if your boost is over that it wont let the 3 lights come on if you get me. hate fuel cut lol

some fairly heated debating goin on there i still have drums on the back and standard brakes on the front but because i dont actually drive much faster top speed wise than the n/a why would it make any difference. would only make a difference if goin on a track in my opinion or if you have a hard driving style. more i think about it the more i think you should do the conversion because i enjoyed doin the mechanical stuff and am looking forward to puttin an na engine in the donor car soon as i get my hoist back. feels great once your finished . but at the same time you could buy a gt and spend the same time and money upgrading it. i think it all depends on how you feel about the whole idea mate Russell

@ glanza-love yeh but i wouldnt have the other car that i plan to use for work. i still think 2 cars with about 70k is a good deal for 4 k. will go down a bit when i sell off bits i dont want lol. i did kinda go a roundabout way of havin a glanza though also toyotas prices are a bit crazy. got a na backbox for like 50 quid new and then they said 60 for just a cv rubber . i prefer the conversion because I've ended up with a starlet cd and basically a 190 bhp glanza for 4k. not a bad deal having the sleeper was great fun while it lasted though. i done the conversion mainly because im tired of goin to garages and wanted to learn to do stuff myself so thought id start with changin an engine haha Russell

engine oil - i used nearly 4 litres to get it to full gearbox oil - used just over 2 litres powersteering - bought a small bottle from halfrauds and i still have some left engine coolant - used nearly all 5 litres of the big bottles hope that helps Russell

sure it was boosting fine before i swaped the engine. not very clued up in the ecu department. hks fcon and gcc piggyback. not sure if thats even what deals with boost. just does it all the time. never goes up and down though. like if it goes to 14 and i keep the foot down it doesnt change and never goes. doesnt feel any different at all and i would have though if it was an actual boost problem i would notice 5 psi.

should be boosting 1.2 bar which is about 17 psi yet gauge doesnt show that. sometimes 14 sometimes 16 sometimes even 12. dunno if it could be my gauge? ideas anyone ?? Russell
