i've just modified my hks actuator. fits perfect to be fair basically drilled a hole in the center of the bracket on there pretty much and then had to cut the arm a little so it was short enough to hold the wastegate closed
  14. its just a ebay flocking kit mate lol just glue and powdery stuff basically
  15. few people have asked me how i made this since i posted a pic in the gauge thread so thought i'd post some pics i took while making it was pretty simple considering i'd never used fibre glass sheeting before. list of things needed are basically below * fibre glass sheeting pack from halfrauds *filler * basic tools and patience lol so basically i cut out the vents in the centre console and wrapped my gauges in some cling film. i then took the fibre glass sheeting and wrapped a piece around the gauge and covered with the resin and let that dry took about ten mins. after doing three of these i had the mold of the three gauges and set about setting those into the console like i wanted. I made it so the gauges are slightly slanted towards the driver. literally is a step of building it up layer by layer until you get what you want. just kept checking the gauges would fit well and i hadnt put too much fibre glass in the wrong places. hardest part i found was between the gauges as its quite awkward to get in there and keep it kind of neat. then it was just a case of putting a skim of filler on to smooth it all out didn't want to use too much as i didn't want it cracking most time consuming part was sanding all the filler back and trying to get a smooth surface. i then opted to use a self flocking kit my mate had lying about instead of trying to paint it and although its a bit patchy its alot better than what i was expecting it to turn out like lol

just remove the locating pin think i just used a pair of pliers and pulled it out
  17. built it with fibreglass and a skim of filler and then flocked it. the 3rd gauge is fine its just the angle i took the photo from i think because it was outside of the car.
  18. or build them into the centre console
  19. i've used muc-off in the past always brings it up well i found
  20. from what i can tell its basically so you can change the colour of your wheels as in spraying them or having them powdercoated but you can return it to what they were originally by removing it. so you don't have to sand back the rims before applying it etc ( i think lol )
  21. latest issue aint my car its JO'S LOL
  22. ^^^^ LOL i'm due a lot of fucking prizes then
  23. pop to toyota down cardiff for coolant i went there the other week when i did my rad and he said they'd stopped stocking it but he'll check if they had any. managed to get 5 litres for a 5er as it wouldn't scan through on their system no more so he put it through as a litre of the new stuff
  24. ah fair enough when i replaced mine the outer case of the bearing had come away from the bearing itself and wedged itself into the disc was a right pain to get out of the disc.
  25. New bearing has to be pressed into the disc too getting the old one out of the disc is a right TWAT too lol
