  1. yeah these actuators will work just as good as the hks item................but if you knew the price that i could get actuators made for you would cry! honestly if i could get the brackets made up i could sell them for silly cheap
  2. i done it and it brought my insurance down by more than it cost to do the pass plus so its a bonus. plus the company i am with now except pass plus as a full years no claims even though its 3 years since i did it.

  4. i would but it needs modifing as i mentioned above or else it would be on in minutes. it needs bending to suit the downpipe.
  5. good point. i thought it would only be a small increase in boost though? 1-2 psi well as long as it aint hurting running my car as it is now i will just leave it as it is. i will get the nurspec on soon anyway
  6. dont worry the exhaust is sat in my garage waiting to go on. needs modding to fit, im not gonna get chance to fit it for a few weeks. i got chance to borrow a boost gauge as mine broke and also a chance to get the fueling checked so i thought i may as well turn the boost up to the target 1.1bar while im getting the fuel checked. as long as it wont cause engine damage i will leave it as it is, and then unlease the gains when i get chance to get the exhaust on. the performance at the minute is amazing though. cant wait to see what my turbo makes on the dyno
  7. well basically my engine mods are, hybrid ct9 zisco mani zep racing decat fmic JAM ecu ngk plugs filter mounted at front. i went to have my fueling checked and thats fine. i turned the boost up to 1.1bar as this is the intended target boost. im still using stock exhaust at the minute. would this be a bad idea without an upgraded exhaust? is the stock exhaust really that restrictive that it can be dangerous at this boost level? has anyone ran high boost on stock exhaust before without problems?

  9. yeah i said to him i needed to know what the reading was he gave me and thats all, and if he knew what afr ratio it would be. he asked me what the problem was and i told him i was told i would need an afr ratio. he then started being mardy with me saying he knows what he is doing. i didnt ring up and give him any shit at all.

  12. well as im lead to beleive running close to being lean off boost leads to faster spool up times due to engine tempuratures. he said it wasnt leaning out just close to being lean. im gonna get a a dyno run and fueling check at another tuners soon anyway, as i want to know what my turbos capable of putting out.
  13. well he did tell me that off boost its running close to being lean, which im lead to believe is a good thing. and on full boost, flat out its at 6.5 which is more than enough fuel. he could well be speaking the truth. i was just expecting to be told a ratio. this does sound like a bit of an educated guess to the afrs, but i assume he knows his stuff. if its fuelling safe its time for a little more boost!
  14. i wanted a dyno run but he said the dyno was playing up. he said he could still do my fueling though by running it on the dyno just couldnt give me a power figure. i rang up and he seemed offended that i would question what he was telling me. he said from the carbon monoxide reading you can tell if its safe or not. and started spouting on about how many years of experience he has and all that and told me to get who ever is disagreeing with what he is saying to give him a call!
  15. just been on to him and he said that it was the carbon monoxide reading was 6.5% he said he can tell from this that the afrs are safe. is he chating bollocks?
  16. to be honest i have no idea what he was telling me. i just went in and said i need to get the fueling checked becaust i have put a bigger turbo, new ecu.... ect. he put it on the dyno put the probes in and gave it a blast. he then came over and said its at 6.5% which is plenty of fuel to be safe. thats all i was told really and as i know nothing about fueling i assumed what he was telling me was correct
  17. yeah thats what i said to him, that i thought it was measured as a ratio. but he said that there was a 6.5% fuel so its plenty of fuel there. if i ring him what shall i ask, i dont know anything at all about fueling.
  18. stock exhaust at the minute mate, ive got a blitz nur spec to go on but i need it custom fitting as its been modded to fit a different down pipe. im thinking of getting rid of the nurspec for a hks silent power though.
  19. went to get my fueling checked today by a local garage. the bloke ran it on the rollers for a short blast, and then came and told me its fueling at 6.5%, he said this was a safe fuel level and there was plenty of fuel there when going flat out on boost for me not to worry. this doesnt mean alot to me. does this sound about right?
  20. well i think im getting used to it now and it maybe bedding in a little. feels much more controlable now. gonna go turn the boost up in a minute to what im hoping to run.
  21. the clutch is in! wait to you get in in si............ you will soon want it out again. who ever says this clutch is street usable is a liar! if you want to launch hard its class, if you want to creep forward its a fucking nightmare! i dont even wanna try parking yet. the clutch engages and snaps your neck. it needs very high revs to even creep forward. makes it look like you cant drive! downgearing is a very violent afair. im sure i will get used to it............i hope! on a positive it pulls like never before

  23. yeah the clutch is a real work of art. if it performs as well as it looks it will be worth the ££££ well i fitted the front mounted filter, reset the ecu........and the car ran terrible! but i found out that was due to my decat almost hanging off and causing the ecu to fuel wrong. now thats sorted it runs well, cant really see how well as the clutch keeps slipping so i should be able to let you know tommorrow when it all on.
  24. check everywhere for air leaks mate. i had one on my decat the other day. my car was running like an absolute bag of shit. now ive fixed that its back to normal.
