  1. my simple advise....... if a girl is fucking you about, then dont get involved at all, if a girl is trouble, dont get involved at all. when you meet the right girl you will know as there will be no stress. it just feels different when its the right one, you will know when its right, you just have to be patient. until then just have fun and dont get too involved or commited, or the above will just keep happening.
  2. i did it on the hinge to bonnet mate on my old n/a.
  3. can use washers mate, just a correction that it doesnt get more into the engine bay at all, what is does do is it sucks warm air out when moving
  4. welcome to the site mate, any question just ask and im sure you will find all the help you need.
  5. i would say go for it mate. i dont regret buying mine at all. in 5 minutes all my fueling was sorted. ive even had the fueling checked at 1.1bar and its sound. its best to use them with stock reg and fuel pump as ive heard they can affect the running of the ecu. and obviously you wond need fcd. when i first got mine i ran it at 0.8 bar for a while until i got the mani on and the difference was noticable. was much more agressive. if you dont get along with it you can always sell for about the same money. they seem to hold money well.
  6. im running a jam ecu mate. made 196bhp @1bar with it too and the tuner said its running well. overfuel a little at high revs, but can still make good power. just plug and play, 5 minute to fit, nothing else needed.
  7. shock and spring combo, anti lift and rear arb, front and rear braces. will see a good improvement with that. will not be too harsh for the shitty roads either. try toytuning or dave burwash mate
  8. on road its a bit of beast to be honest, pulls very hard and has the kick of a much bigger turbo. it doesnt feel like the turbo is hardly working, doesnt need to be thrashed but just pulls nicely. the power is there when ever you need it. as for the lag, im assuming its down to the bigger shaft i used or intercooler size. but to be honest it isnt even noticable. it starts spooling up around 2700ish and as soon as the turbo starts boosting it pulls well. so it doesnt really make you notice that it takes a little longer to reach full boost. when my clutch was slipping i ran this turbo at 0.5bar
  9. went on the dyno at rs tuning at the yorkshire RR day. quite happy with the result as i know there is more power in it, i only ran it at a bar instead of 1.2bar. plus i have a crappy filter and pipework on there. here are some pics and graphs 196.1 bhp and 182ftlb torque @ 1 bar im looking for a bit on analisis on the graphs as im no expert but the tuner was very impressed and said it was pretty much perfect. this is on the JAM ecu opinions?
  10. some of these names are making me devil driver, godsmack! you sure your not making them up?
  11. i would definatly say hdi over the autobahn. the routing of the autobahn is not the best design and i dont think the cooler sits as nice as the hdi behind the bumper. i have no issues with my hdi.
  12. thanks lads. @enzo, the springs im using are cobra ones i think. thats what i was told they was anyway, definatly not tien as the springs are red. plus mate the nurspec being on has unleased an immense amount of power, its unbelivable really the difference that has made. get rid of the stock exhaust!
  13. yeah i agree with rick that they are rather large and do require a fair bit of cutting if you still have a/c in place. i dont think they look bad though. to be fair there size is not reflected in the lag. there was no extra lag for me at all when changing to the hdi from stock tmic and the qualuty of the kit is really good for the price. they do the job well to as after a blast of driving if you pull over and feel the temperature of the pipeing at the throttle body its impressivly cold. worth every penny in my eyes but i have not had any experience with other more pricey coolers.

    TTE Front Splitter

i think this will just ruin every thing good about tte front splitters. replicas will just kill it ;) surely something so uncommon should be left that way.
  15. picked up my leads tonight from mike at monster motorsport. 8.5mm magnacor (red ones) also had a bit of a tidy up under the engine bay in preperation for the yorkshire RR meet on saturday but will get pics up of that when i finish it. still not got around to fitting them bloody engine mounts though so need to get onto that. and there is a second hybrid in the pipe line which i may build soon depending on the results from the dyno on sat.
  16. there is nothing wrong with the hdi kit mate. have you used one?
  17. just have a look at the arm on the actuator. some have a hole on the end and some have a pin. look at your wastegate arm on your turbo and see if it requires a pin or hole. easy as that mate. they are identical other than that.
  18. would probably come along depending on date, cant really say for definate until i know when mate
  19. looks really well mate. top work, would be good to see it at the RR meet on the 18th
  20. mine is the same under hard breaking, i think an upgraded panhard rod helps to reduce it. im not 100% certain that this would be your problem but it will definatly help strengthen up the rear axle
  21. i will try and get a vid of mine. its not blitz pipe work, its 2.5 all the way with no boxes with the nurspec backbox. quite loud but really roars
  22. didnt look much mate to be honest. not to my taste and the colour is just as it is in the pics. i think the lad who brought is mates with someone off the site.
  23. yeah its likely to be that one i would hope! i seen that same one at a midlands car show a while back
  24. anyone going from sheffield? i will be in sheffield the weekend this is happening so if anyone is leaving from there who knows where they are going i would like to tag along as i have no idea where this is!
