these people will get whats coming to them. karma will sort it. they are scum, hope you get it sorted mate.
-
thanks, heres some pics of the arb and anti lift. exciting i know, lol. but thought i would show what they look like.
-
strange that its coming close to cutting with just the hi/low bypassed then. the actuator should work and is good to have anyway as the standard actuator is pretty poor.
-
looks good mate welcome to the site
-
yeah get a guage mate straight away and see what its actually boosting too. my mods are trd filter, decat, fmic, ect and the only form of boost control i have is the actuator. i get no creep and am running a steady 0.9ish bar. if i turn it up one more twist on the actuator it will do what yours is doing. not cut but warn of it. what are your mods?
-
ok ive got my catch tank, ive got no where to fit it other than one place ive found. the issue is that that place is right at the front grill. im thinking that if i stick a breather filter on the catch tank, the air flowing to it while driving may stop the air from the rocker cover being expelled. ie the air will flow through the filter, through the tank and into the engine instead of being blown out the engine, through the tank and out the filter. does this make sense and will it be ok?

it will hold boost better, it may also respond quicker so reduce chance of the boost creeping a little....... but the big point is thats its adjustable. your car is just on the edge of fuel cut at the minute. if you have the hks adjustable actuator you can turn the boost down say 1 or 2psi to stop it being so close to cut.
-
get an hks actuator. problem solved, no drama mate.
-
no the bumper had to be cut a fair amount. ive just done a decent job of it and the front splitter has covered the butchered area...see post above mate if your gonna buy this kit you will have to be prepared to cut the bumper a fair amount.
-
i did sparky mate it was a nightmare, under the spliter is a right mess. just bent the splitter up a bit and sat it a bit further forward and that covered it all. i also removed the aircon fan to allow the cooler to go back a bit further
-
yeah that not be much of a problem rick as i re-condition turbos for a living. not sure if im gonna build my own hybrid yet though.
-
the plan is to run the hydrid for now at 0.8-0.9 bar this is the boost im currently running, and then when i feel the need get a standalone ecu and up the boost and get a proper tune. im not too sure about going the fcd and fpr route.
-
yeah i would say so enzo because i can keep the power on all the way through without letting off to stop the understeer half way around a bend. im thinking maybe some shocks now instead of coilovers.
-
fuck yeah it is!!!!! slag all the way! its safe trust me, there are two brackets underneath and the 2 cable ties on each side to the crash bar. have you ever tried drilling a crash bar! its fucking solid mate. new pics with the bumper on. its mounted a little further to the left on purpose so i can put the plate far right and not block any of the cooler.

is it possible to run a hybrid ct9 at 0.8 bar on a glanza and not have to change the fueling? when running a hybrid ct9 are the oil feed and drain lines in the same position? is the intercooler outlet in the same position as the standard ct9? if you run a hybrid ct9 with the filter re located to the front bumper will it have the same creep issues as a ct9 or will it be fully eliminated by the ported wastegate? and finally......... how much would a fully reconditioned, balanced and surface treated unused ct9b fetch if up for sale? i have a plan. any help good thanks. keiran

the bov attachment is on the cold pipe near the inlet mani. im running with out one at the minute and it sound absolutly awsome, i will get some vids up when i get the bumper back on. i dont think you will be disapointed with the kit at all mate, well worth the money in my eyes.
-
i had no issues, it will take you all of 2 seconds to remove it and if it over boosts put it back mate. in the time it took you to post this you could have swaped the pipes over and found out! lol.
-
class mate, didnt even have to move the airbox at all. all that is required is a bit of cutting of the slash guards and the bumper, which is a bit of a pain in the arse on the bumper but the kit is very good. also there is pretty much no lag at all, a little bit of a pressure drop in boost but that can be just acounted for with a couple of extra turns on the hks actuator. all in all a good bit of kit and i will get more pics when the bumper manages to fit back on.
-
thanks i never use it anyway. when people remove aircon dont they have to do something to stop the rad fan running constant? will i have to do this if i just remove the fan? did you get my pm rick?
-
having tried to fit my front mount the bumper will not fit on and even with triming im struggling to get it on. i never use my aircon and its the aircon fan thats in the way so was gonna just move that. is it a simple case of unplugging the fan unbolting it and then just not using my aircon? keiran

i know that on my list too, anti lift helps and also some good tyres
-
what clutch is that mate, how much and would you recomend it? cars looking good mate
-
ive just fitted mine mate, the arb and anti lift together and has seen a good improvement and the understeer when pushing it round the bends has been reduced, lots more grip to the front wheels too, well worth the money in my opinion. a rear brace wont be too noticable really but its nice to have and looks sweet, especially when striped out with a c pillar bar too.
-
click here there you go mate
-
anti lift kit mate if your thinking for performance, or add a little extra and get a rear arb. doesnt your gt already have the stock front strut brace, if so changing to another will only be for looks really and wont see you any other gains.
