exactly. if i had £400 i would have the EGR and DPF deleted with a map from J Cargo, however, thats SILLY money, thing is it would increase performance AND economy, and stop this limp mode shite, but £400!!!!! to map the daily! bugger that! what use is warranty when they KNOW FULL WELL what the problem is, and that its common to all 159 diesels, and refuse to just clean it out for u. wankers. Phil. -
just testing them, 6 for £10 was the offer on both of them so thought that would do for today. also bro, that new maidenhead, fucking MADNESS on a saturday! fucking pricks lifting kids up to look into tanks when NONE of them actually keep fish! just nosey wankers who COMPLETELY block the isles with prams and shite! total bollox! nobody buying anything, just being fucking annoying and passing time! wankers. Phil.

yeah, it aint behaving the way it should right now tbh. going up to the folks' tomorrow to meet alan and joel to look at the starlet, and while there i'm going to rotate the tires as the "Wanli" tires on the front are f**king dangerous. plenty of tread, but no grip. so swapping the hankooks to the front, thereby saving £200+. checked with the dealers, EGR and DPF aint covered under warranty...of course, so going to have to fork out to sort those! feck! Phil. -
thats the level we all dream of rebuilding a car to! every single nut and bolt, brand new, from the ground up!!!!! great work bud! Phil.

Update this thing is due a service. keeps going into limp mode on the main roads and motorways when i put the foot down, suspect its the EGR or DPF, gonna have to investigate. price of 90,000 mile service from dealer...nearly a grand. today i picked up an oil filter, pollen filter, fuel filter and k&n air filter for £75 on the bay. score. going to get it booked into an indie alfa guy in the coming weeks for timing belt and water pump. and badly needs some front tires ASAP, plenty of tread, just NO grip, so time to go before the winter hits proper. so once all that is done, that takes -

NICE!!!! my UK spec definately doesn't. never knew they were available at all. and here's another I have never seen before, and OEM battery box!!! that would be pretty tidy actually. http://www.bidjdm.com/bidding/auction/view/id/e117667141 Phil. -

^^^see, u and I are just the same. to alot of folk its just shit on a site, they turn off the computer and its gone. doesnt work that way for you and I. and then Amy and Carol have to suffer it. going to be getting a test drive in a scoob with 2 or 3 different boost settings within the next week or so hopefully, give me an idea of what the various models would feel like in terms of power, plus, proper 4wd. Phil.

Rob_bower's 242 bhp SR - Refresh and fueling upgrades.

great work bud! really impressed with how you have brought this along, plus you have been so hands on with it too, invaluable learning dude!!!! keep it up! almost there! Phil. -
i have had more than enough buddy. this crap follows me home, and I find that unacceptable. it was fine when i was younger and single and lived at home, but now that it follows me home and impacts my mrs, it is no longer acceptable to me. and I know that Rob is exactly the same and can vouch for it. a change of some sort is required for sure. Phil.

had lunch with a friend yesterday and have had a chat with Mark and had a look about. either this will be finished quietly offline with alan and joel, or it will be broken to pieces for perhaps a Scooby project, or i will stop throwing money down the drain on modifying altogether and maybe just buy a dedicated track ready toy, like a Westy or something properly quick. either way, the days of modifying just to post an update on a forum are done. Phil.

been in two minds recently bud. comes from spending too much time talking to Joel about Supras and RX7s. just thinking though. sometimes just fancy a new challenge. Phil.
