must be something in the air (or water) boys...i have discovered a f**king white spot break out on my blue rasboras and some tetras this evening. WTF! did a clean on the pumps yesterday and a quick glass scraping, so could be a mild stressing from that, although that would be odd. but now i gotta race to the shop tomorrow morning to get some treatment, and there was me wanting to add more glowlights and rummys and tall plants. FAIL boys! Phil.

i got a 46" Sony Bravia LED 3D Smart Freeview from a Marks and Spencer's clearance offer for £479, down from £800, though hotukdeals.com. they have some EPIC prices for TVs on there, but u have to be quick, mine sold out in less than an hour. been using mine for a couple of months now, and gotta say, anyone who has seen it is very impressed with the picture. i haven't run a bluray player to it yet, but i would say the picture will be awesome when i do. highly recommended, as is that site, u can get some real bargains on there! Members Thoughts on UKSO Progress So Far??
Nanglebadger replied to ro55ifumi's topic in News & General Announcements
wasn't me. but that is a fair point John. I'm out of the house 11 hours a day, then have the dogs etc to deal with and diners and lunches in the evenings, never mind all the other house-related things, and i do try to get on here in the evenings and also briefly before i start work, but its not always possible. i've also been away a fair bit this year for work, meaning moderator duties have been playing second fiddle. that is something that folk do need to be mindful of, yes we are on here quite a bit and deal with most queries as quickly and effortlessly as possible, however we all have jobs -
oooffftttt those are hott! Phil.

I owe you one serious manhug trisk buddy, a long, deep manhug. the next step was complete removal of the block onto a stand or bench to strip it right down, so this has (hopefully) saved us from that chore! gotta get the wiring done, a little welding in the spare wheel well, a little paint and some tires for the Volks, then maybe see about taking it to some shows with Alan and Joel next season. so a few things to do over the winter. Phil.

ouch! expensive. here in NI at Kirkistown there are days run by "Trackskills", where essentially you register with them for a year (maybe £100) and then for ~£50 you can run what you have each time they hold a day at Kirky (pretty regular I believe). this therefore makes it MUCH cheaper than the £9000 above. is there nothing similar to this on the mainland that you could all arrange to meet at/join and hold an event along side? just a thought. here is a link for more exact prices as i was just estimating: http://www.trackskills.com/ Phil.

cheers guys. long winter of wiring ahead of us! Phil.

cheers gents. no boosting yet, alan was very specific about that. being off the road for over a year, and sat on stands for the last 4 or 5 months, boost wouldnt have been too clever for her, she saw maybe 0.5 bar tops but pretty easy driving, no full beans. we'll see about getting it moved and putting a few miles on it before opening the taps. the brakes are non-existent right now, so i wouldnt want to be doing anything too spirited in her yet. Next is move it, then Joel and I will set to work wiring in the gauges. Phil.
