Nice warm, dry evening last night and the plates and bulbs arrived so set about some fettling: 501s for the sides, puddles and rear: Pressed metal plates: Compared to OEM - not as white as LEDs obviously but Alfas dont take LEDs well (without some resistor wiring etc) but they are much brighter - OEM on the left, Philips on the right: And all fitted up - yes the car is filthy I know, but I did detar and wax behind the rear plate before refitting! Just the sides! Bright! And all the new front bulbs so far (still waiting on fogs):

Some fresh sidelights installed last nite - Philips Ultra White Vision 501s. Have a set for the rear plates too when I can be bothered fighting with the rear panel lol Phil.

Still waiting on a bunch of bulbs and some fresh plates arriving today, but over the weekend got some silvatec front indicator bulbs to do away with the fried egg look! Update Managed a handy trade for a fresh bonnet yesterday. My own is a little worse for wear as the result of some persuasion required to make the original FMIC pipework fit and looks terrible when opening the bonnet, so been on the hunt for something fresh for a couple of years now. Big thanks to TTE_Starlet (Ryan) for sorting me out with this, and also for providing me with a new spare wheel mount so I can get a space saver back into the car (just needs welded in). Wow, I haven't bothered to update this since I bought the car....that would be because I haven't done anything with it, bar services and driving her daily. To date the car has been faultless bar a lambda sensor that was resolved under warranty. Daily slogs have taken their toll on the paint and especially the condition of the brake calipers sadly, but, its a daily driver hauler not a show car, and those are all things that can be restored via various services available (refurb and replace services on eBay, etc). Not sure of the price difference between just reconditioning your CT9 and hybridising it... ...however, what I will say is this... I run a K1. Much to the contrary of internet rubbish, its not a hybrid. HOWEVER, what I can tell you is that it is hilarious craic. Zero lag to speak of, power delivery is instant and it pulls all the way through the rev range. If a hybrid CT9 behaves somewhere close to this, then my view is, smiles per mile will be HIGH! Yes bud. After spending the money for brand new coils, I dont want to just let them rot under the car. So they will be getting a heavy coating of marine grease before fitting, as well as these covers applied over the top of them. They wont pass MOT as the MOT man likes to see the shock etc, but they're easily fitted and removed and will stop stones etc from pinging up and chipping the springs/shock etc so hopefully help to preserve the life of them for as long as possible. Update New number plates fitted at the weekend, cleaned up versions with no websites or anything on them. First time there has been a front plate on her in a few years. Coilover socks ordered - apparently I don't know the difference between 4 coilovers and a "pair" of socks though....idiot...so need to order another pair. Feel free to mock, I deserve it. After that, I plan to order a charcoal dash mat to tidy up the gauge installation on the dash (cover holes, etc). Ah got ya, sorry I hadnt had my coffee(s) when i posted that response. Expansion tank, yes, so what we've done with mine is get a Glanza one that as you say, has a metal L-shaped bracket on the rear of it. Originally it was bush-mechanic'd in with a cable tie, however Rob Bower took great offense to that, so using the holes already in the flat/horizontal piece of the bracket already attached to the bottle, it was screwed down into the metal work of the engine bay. It took some drilling/tapping before hand which claimed the life of a drill bit, but its now securely in there! Hope th

Morning Jase, Standard civic half rad from eBay (ID-Workz sells them too). The bottom of the radiator sits (literally sits) on the original OEM radiator bracket, and I think we've a rubber bung lodged onto that OEM bracket just to hold the half rad a bit better. The top is held on with a custom S-shape bracket that I had an engineer in my work make for me in the workshop.
