  1. Time for more shitty iPhone 5 pics of the recent updates: First up, the Meisters have arrived: And then it was on to collecting the powder coated bits: Lower arms: Front strut brace ends: BMCS: RW Developments battery clamp: Also dug these out of their hidey hole just to be sure the finish was not perishing in the roof space....it ain't, good thick coat of wax is keeping them clean! Ball joints, track rod ends and CV boots order placed with Jay, once landed, arms will be built up and the whole lot installed at once so the taking on and off of nuts
  2. Not sure how I've missed this....but NICE car bud!!! Wheels are super tasty! Looking forward to seeing what you do with this one! Phil.
  3. Front strut brace ends, lower arms, BMCS and battery clamp all collected from powder coating. Next phase: order lower arms parts. Phil.
  4. Thanks Rob! Coming along at a good pace at the mo thanks to Joel's continued support. Bungs are such a simple but effective mod, thanks for the inspiration bud! Phil.
  5. Update New MeisterR Zeta CRD+ coilovers arrived yesterday - ordered on Thursday so that was pretty rapid service! Powder coated parts are ready for collection so will be arranging that today/tomorrow. Then I'll place the order for the remaining drive train parts and commence the build-up of the lower arms ready for installation with the coilovers. Phil.
  6. MeisterR don't do Mondays, but they just made mine.

  7. Looks super! This is something I have also been thinking about for some time as the K1 generates alot of heat in the engine bay ("quit knicking all my ideas Phil" I hear you cry!!!) Looks very smart bud and again, very inspirational! Keep it up! Phil.
  8. Seems I just palced an order for some MeisterRs! Oh my!

  9. Cant take credit for the solution, saw Rob_SR's thread and pinched the idea, so all credit to young Roberto for the idea lol! Coilover order will be placed this week. Phil.
  10. Update Joel kindly gave up a few hours of his Easter Sunday to help make some headway with the to-do list. New radiator fan installed, few more dress up washers and bolts added to the bay, snap-off kit fitted and rear plastics trimmed for the strut to go back in. Also found a pipe hanging about the bay thats meant to be connected to the boost controller. Pretty sure it still wont work but reconnected for a laugh anyway. Got the vacuum pipe bungs installed on the manifold and TB during the week too. Hopefully I'll get word from the powder coaters this w
  11. that sounds epic! also looks like a barrel of fun too! Phil.
  12. THANKYOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been wondering what those stupid windscreen stickers meant or even said for about 15 years!!!!!!!!!!!! Vanaaken!!!!! You have no idea how satisfying that is now to know the answer! Phil.
  13. lol plenty of reading in this one bud! Cheers! Toyota 8L5 Blue Mica Metallic. Phil.

  15. Rear sunstrip removed. Sad times. :cray: :cray: Phil.
  16. Super clean looking motor and some NICE OEM options in there too! Enjoy and welcome back to the EP scene! Phil.
  17. Another crafty hour in the garage last night, got a couple more washers done around the catch can, also removed the catch can to inspect for "fullness", bugger all in it, so all good. Fitted one of the two ICV washers, need to relocate an earth wire before fitting the second. Busted open a Samurai air freshener too, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! And, a sad day also. I have started removing the rear sun strip. Its like a bandage, the longer I put it off, the harder it would be to do. But its the right time for it to go, it had started to split and just needed replaced or removed. Still shit though.
  18. buried in the depths of my build thread somewhere bud I'm afraid. Wouldnt even know what page numbers to recommend anymore lol its up to 108 pages or something daft now! But there are pics of them in there. Phil.
  19. Didnt spend anything on the boss, so if it doesnt like my car its no massive shakes. I have already had to relocate my horn button so it will be interesting to me to see if this kit restores EP91 horn functionality, or if I retain the relocated horn...or be a knob and have both. Thanks Rich, plenty to be getting on with for the first time in a long time. Hoping the vac bungs arrive today so I can have a rattle at them this evening after work, slow and steady progress. Decided the rear sunstrip is definitely coming off as its now past its best, just putting it off as it'll make me sad i
  20. I used to have mine mounted in the rear door cards (placed a wooden frame into the recess, mounted the speakers and retrimmed for neatness), but then I ditched it all. Phil.
  21. Only took me an hour, but got the 5 bolts around the power steering reservoir and lines swapped out last night...NO BREAKAGES! Good old WD40 pretreat! Anyways, before Rich and Rob and Nick start booing me...some photees: JDM EP goodies: Dress up kit Shifter extension - I'll do some trialing with this and the TRD short shifter to see what I think: Snap off kit: Smellies: Some decals to add to the decal'd up cleaning products fridge: Some of the progress so far - out with the old: In with the new: And this is an oldie tha
  22. Thanks Nick! Sorry Rich - I got a bit sidetracked with spring cleaning the house with the Mrs half the weekend! But yesterday I managed to get a few hours spent on making a start on the engine bay dress up kit. Passenger wing, fuse box, fire wall, bonnet hinges, all done and inlet manifold mostly done. Was alot more fiddly than I anticipated! 2 of the 3 bolts on the drviers wing done....because I snapped the third, so that prick needs drilled and re-threaded :angry2: Pre-treated the power steering area in WD40 ahead of my next assault, hopefully get a few pics up once I've a bit more
  23. that sounds epic! looking forward to more details! Phil.
