  1. If you look at pics of my car from about 8 years back you'll see that we removed the rear seats, put a 15 inch (I think, cant remember) sub into the spare wheel well and put a false floor in the boot and rear seat area. The amp was mounted to the false floor in the boot and we put 6x9s into the rear inner door cards. All told it was pretty neat and tidy. Its not to everyones tastes as is obvious above, but if music is an important part of your day/drive, then no reason you cant do it, not like the car hasnt got a turbo to pull the weight, but again, opinions and analogies to bodily ori
  2. I'll check my splitter and see how close a match they are and give u a shout as a previous bodyshop f**ked mine up. Phil.
  3. Thanks gents! All 4 coilovers now installed so we're getting somewhere with the suspension at least. Few parts needing ordred to help with the MOT side of things, but progress nonetheless. Phil.
  4. Welcome to the site bud. I will have two days in Tokyo in mid september to do some sight seeing. Sadly I think Daikoku is out of the question as a hire car is required and I wouldnt fancy tackling the tolls etc, but hoping I'll see plenty of machinery on the streeys of Tokyo! Keep us updated on how you get on modifying an EP in the motherland!!!!!! Phil.
  5. Approved as the main details are present but please use the template in future bud. Cheers, Phil.
  6. Approved pending some photos. I know photobucket is being a noob so have a bash at the direct upload feature and hoepfully that should sort it out. Phil.
  7. Approved pending photos. Probably best using the direct upload feature since photobucket is being a dick. Chuck some pics up as soon as please bud. Phil.
  8. Approved pending some photos bud - I know photobucket is being a pain in the hoop for everyone. Have a rattle at the direct upload feature and see if that gets some pics up for you. Phil.
  9. And now with added pictorial references (albiet >50% auto rotated - f**king sigh): Dash mat installation: Tacho in and working: And some rear coilovers: Phil.
  10. Update Will need to get some pictorial evidence, however over the last week or so the dash mat has gone in, all gauges remounted, Apexi tacho installed and rear MeisterR coilovers installed. Next on the list is debugging a lighting issue with the other gauges, and front coilovers. Also had a good look around the rear of the car with Joel on sunday and we've established that rear discs and pads, as well as a clean up and waxoil of the fuel tank and rear brake hard pipes will be required pre-MOT. Two forward, one back lol. The list: Fit new suspension, anti-lift kit and lower arm parts
  11. my thread is now 110 pages, and likely only the last 10 at the very most will be using the direct upload feature. Probably only the last 5. S0, 105 pages with photobucket links now gone. Be easier to generate a blog style page and just work slowly through the files on my home PC but again, 12 years worth. Fuck that. Phil.
  12. The earlier sections of my build thread are from 12 years ago - I havent a clue which photo went where so from my perspective, anything pre-direct upload has now been f**ked in my thread. Phil.
  13. Update Believe it or not I am actually getting somwhere, albeit slowly. All 4 calipers have had a fresh lick of Hammerite Hammered Black. Over the weekend I paid a visit to Jay and collected a couple of bits he sourced from The Mother Land for me: OEM EP91 rigid illuminated parking pole : Quick mock up by hand, will need the bumper off to site it properly I think: This one took a while to find, although not as long as the pressure gauge did a few years back - Apexi Tacho complete with shift light - this thing is immaculate: All gauges have been remove
  14. You dont NEED them...I ran mine for years without them and just the regular UK ones in there, but I did eventually make the swap although TBH the Glanza ones arent much bigger. Its just the inner arch bits. Phil.
  15. Thanks bud! We're getting somewhere at last! Phil.
  16. Holy shit this is a blast from the distant past!! good to hear from you Rubix!! Phil.
  17. hmmmmm, its longer than I would like it to be: The list: Repaint all 4 calipers - done Grease-up coilovers Fit new suspension, anti-lift kit and lower arm parts Geometry set up Fit oil filter relocator - ready to fit Wire in all Apexi gauges - done, just need to connect sensors for oil and water Fit dash mat Weld in spare wheel mount Fix bumper support bar Address rear floor Headlight alignment Oil change Address rear brakes and tighten handbrake (these 3 are all MOT items) Fix speedo and speed reader Paint and fit new bonnet Fit parking pole and wire in Fit Apexi Rev counter and wire in Pas
  18. Update Fairly productive weekend this week - I had wrapped the cold side FMIC intake pipe in gold reflective tape earlier in the week so refitted that, along with a brand new battery (AT LAST!! Only took about 5 years) and an RW Developments battery clamp I've had knocking about for years too that I had powder coated last year. I also stood pondering where else to apply some tape so ended up doing the EFI pipe too - not just as neat as the job on the FMIC pipe due to the contours on the rear of the EFI pipe but still tidier than some of the crease-jobs you see online:
  19. Thats class. Very tidy bud! Also, genuinely the first set of the OEM front fogs that I have seen outside of the options brochures!!! Superb!!!!!!!! nice to see they do exist! Phil.
  20. Update Well blow me down with a feather, an actual update. GaragEP Global HQ recently relocated back to the beautiful Antrim Coast and yesterday we took advantage of the lovely warm dry weather to go and fetch Project BadgerSport and dig her out from her cave. Started first time as always, and other than a sticky caliper that soon worked its way loose, all was well. Naturally the urge to get stuck in was strong, so a couple of changes were immediately made in the sunshine (note, I have NO idea why these images are rotating when they upload as the original files arent rotated - apol
  21. When did you move over and are you here to stay?? If so we'll need to induct you into the NorthStars group! Phil.
  22. About 1/3 of the way down, Project µ EP8* http://juiceboxforyou.com/2017/04/juicebox-japan-scanning-ebisu/ Phil.
  23. Congrats on the feature Pete! Car looks superb, liking the mods to the front wings! I love Paddy's articles, he writes just like an Irishman, with no bullshit whatsoever! I think we need to put him in touch with the local EP owners here though, let him know that their following is still alive and well as he seems to be a big fan of the mighty EPs/KPs! Phil.
