  1. No such thing unfortunately. The shafts will sit at a greater angle the more you lower, he is right but as long as you don't go mad you should be okay. Worst case scenario we sell these: http://www.toytuning.com/onlineshop/drivet...tscvshubs500bhp Not really needed unless looking for silly power! Best Regards, Toby
  2. As above, I would recommend 14's or 15's like Si said but 16's can look okay, they still sap performance and ride quality it's a lot to turn for a 1.3 and puts a lot of stress on the engine mounts. We have some used 15's for sale which came on a Glanza from Japan: http://www.toytuning.com/onlineshop/usedpa...eels154x100et36 Let us know what you think, otherwise keep an eye on the forums or maybe someone like Si could import some for you from yahoo which is what we used to do for a lot of customers. Best Regards, Toby
  3. Thanks everyone, well we are building three demo cars now. No1 we have been building for a few years now, hoping to have her ready for the last two Nippon Challenge races this year. I won't go into detail but we are hoping for anything between 500-600bhp/tonne with a host of custom parts, fiber glass body panels, full weld in cage, stich welded, dog engagement gearbox, billet driveshafts, 5e fully forged with HKS GT2835R turbo will be an entertaining drive! No2 has now been swapped with this, we have a 20v Silvertop (with K26 kit) going in the Glanza which will be the new no2 and this will be no3. We won't be going 4efte in the KP it will be 4age turbo. Anyhow she is being featured later in the month so will let you all know how it goes. Simon - If you can get those wheels for that do it they are pretty rare, they are actually racing wheels that were used on the Hoshino Racing Nissan S12 back in the day: They would have had brake ducts though for cooling, hard to make out in the picture but the same wheels, only bigger and deeper! ;) What do you think of the proposed graphics would be great to here your views: Thanks all, Simon will be in touch soon Toby
  4. One word, WOW! Never realised you were doing this conversion what a write up. How are you finding the power response and delivery must be a hoot to drive. We are running a 4AGE in the KP but it's the older 16v red top, enough for drifting though! I'll make sure I pay a visit and say hello one day. really nice to see something different is this the first 4age powered Starlet in the UK? Tobs
  5. Thanks for the picture Lew tried to add it to the website last night but was playing up will try again today. Love the colour really stands out, all that carbon goodness I don't know! ;) Looks fab with those Craft mirrors whats next on the cards? When we get this photo shoot done at the workshop it would be great if you could bring her over Tobs
  6. Yeah have a good time Ryan no lady boys this time!

  9. .................................................. .................................................. GROUP BUY .................................................. .................................................. *** Toy Tuning Uprated Poly Urethane Engine Mount Bushes *** .................................................. .................................................. (Click to enlarge) Pricing: Full Kit (All 3 Mounts) - £99.00 Inc VAT & Delivery (Mainland UK Only) Individual* - £39.00 each Inc VAT & Delivery (Mainland UK Only) Please contact us for a delivery quote if you are outside of the UK mainland. *This is best suited for owners that would like to replace the gearbox mount only although for best results we recommend all three. Application: All Models Description: Toy Tuning Uprated Poly Urethane Engine Mount Bushes replace the your original rubber bushes with Poly Urethane, a much stronger and more durable material. These will reduce weight transfer of the engine improving torque, traction & engine response. They will also increase chassis rigidity, steering response and will reduce the dreaded wheel hop, a huge problem with the Starlets on launches. These are an ideal replacement for your original OEM worn rubber engine mounts, these also make a good alternative to the mildly uprated TRD rubber bushes which still suffer similar problems with a considerable saving cost wise. The main problem with rubber engine mounts is that you get a lot of play from hard driving and heavy launching. When the engine torques over, it puts pressure on the mounts before it goes through the wheels. Once the engine mounts are pushed to the limit the wheels start turning. What happens is that the engine bounces violently causing a little more power to hit the ground (from the tension in the bushings) which in turn causes the car to hop. Most Starlets out there are driven fairly hard and the rubber mounts soon perish causing excessive strain on the drivetrain, poor driveability and reduced rigidity. We rebuild a lot of Starlets and 9/10 the engine mounts are in very poor condition so these are a great option for those who want to improve on their current setup. Ideally you want to replace all three bushes although replacing the g/box mount alone will make a massive difference as this mount sees more stress than the other two. If you want to feel the biggest improvement then replace all three at the same time. These are fine for street cars, track day cars and qtr mile cars. You will feel a little more vibration on idle but no more than installing an engine torque damper or engine brace. If you have a circuit only Starlet then please contact us to discuss solid engine mounts as these still retain some flexibility making them suitable for the majority of the market. The Full kit includes all three bushes, R/H Engine, L/H Engine and the G/Box Mount. Installation of the bushes is very simple and you don't need any specialist equipment, all you need to do is remove your engine mounts, press the old bushes out and insert the new ones. Removing the old bushes and installing the new uprated ones will take no more than a few minutes. Put them back on the car and off you go! .................................................................................................... 19. Hi all, As some may know we did a swap with Steve on the site. We swapped our demo no2 with his RWD Starlet KP61. As you can imagine very different cars, our demo no2 was pretty impressive with a stack on high quality parts and fully forged engine but something about the KP drew us towards it! Overall we have been pretty impressed considering the age, she has a host of mods with the majority carried out in Japan. Sourcing parts for these cars is not easy so buying a supped up one made complete sense although we've only just started! She is being returned back to red (original colour) and we will be more than likely carrying out a turbo conversion. The drift competition is getting harder and harder, a lot of 86's this year are running near on 300hp so with our 150hp we will struggle to keep up but that is soon to change. We are looking at a rear AE86 beam conversion to allow a greater spectrum of parts (current LSD is quite worn - someones being doing donuts ). Ford running gear is tempting but we are not going that route you will be pleased to know! Anyhow this is just a brief introduction and we hope you like her, will be a nice addition to the fleet  Below are a few snaps I took after a good clean, since then we've built a new rad, sorted the wiring and a few other tad bits. We have a TRD spoiler and splitter coming from Japan as well a new brace and some new adjustable arms. Now we have new employess it will allow us to spend some more time on her so watch this space! We will get some proper pictures of her added to the demo car page which will be done in a few more weeks, took some last week but Ad's needs to have a play with them no my forte!
  20. Wicked KP mate just sent you a reply to your PM To get the 4efte in you can use the Supra W50 tranny but it's a bit of a mission, I've been speaking with the lads on KP61net about possibly making a conversion kit not 100% yet but there are a few out there running the 4efte. Anyhow loving the colour, the wheels, in fact the whole car nothing like a well kept bug eye would be good to meet up Tobs
  21. Yeah love this SR in read good man, thanks for supporting the team as well! I used to have an SR way back and painted the speedlines white good taste! We going to make some more stickers and little TT badges which you could use to cover the badge holes, I used a T badge on mine. Good little project though nice to see the SR's are still popular wicked cars to have and rare as well! We may try and get some TT splitters made like the TTE ones, I do have one somewhere from my old car. Anyhow keep us up to speed and have a good weekend lads/ladies.. T
  22. Hi Jem, We have a nice grade 4 Silver Glanza if you are interested, quite a few mods including Koni shocks, Whiteline springs, Buddy Club Wheels, BOV, Filter etc. Nothing mad but a nice template to start with. If it's not for you we can always help you find another one via the forums if you need any pointers just ask always happy to offer impartial advice regardless of where you buy your car! Best Regards, Toby
  23. Try Sky or Elephant they seem to be pretty good for the Starlets. I used to use Elephant for years until we had trade insurance. Let us know how you get on. T
  24. Track cars still need door mirrors lol can you imagine F1 drivers turning there heads The craft ones are lovely I must admit good job.. T
  25. I woudln't worry Geo most of SV items fail anyway they are cheap for a reason they will soon come running! It looks great on the outset but the reality is far from it . Cracking price on these good deal for the members T
