You know there's 3 year warranty for red rings alone right? And if u don't have warranty anymore, I thought it was pretty easy and cheap to fix. I got my last red rings in April 2009 and my warranty was till May 2009, so quickly sent it in and got a brand new one which was manufactured in Dec 2008, so I'm hoping that new version won't be giving any more rings and otherwise I'll try to fix it myself.

Mine's quite a bit slower either (only on UKSC), using Chrome by the way.

I think white wheels on a black car look great, especially with the 5 spoke design. Not really a fan of those Rotas, don't really like how they look and in the end they're still Rotas. But it's your car obviously so, you need to make the decision. ;)

Lol wasn't there a Japanese comparison video of a stock GT vs. a stock Glanza. Think the GT was faster on the straights (GT 130hp, Glanza 133hp, but GT is a lot lighter) and the Glanza was faster in the corners and had better brakes (or just ABS). Think the Glanza won that race, but GT is prob faster in a straight line.

That's what I was talking about in my first post too. ;) But how did you time that 6,7 sec by the way? And XPS yours is with an auto gearbox isn't it, thought auto gearboxes in general were slower in accelerating but seems to be that with Glanzas and GTs they're faster than a manual gearbox?

I don't believe an extra 20 hp (in 1st and 2nd gear) or so will knock 1.5 seconds of the 0-60 time. My first car is my Glanza, consider myself pretty lucky to have one as a first car. Did involve a couple years of saving though and not buying a moped etc. to throw away money on. It was either this or an EK4, no regret choosing the Glanza.

I think for the (manual), the factory time 0-60 was 8.3 sec with the boost restriction. Without the restriction, I'm guessing something like a second off, 7.3 approx. Gotta get my turbo timer sorted though, so I can use that to time it accurately.

Think most people have 15" wheels on their Starlets, that seems to be the average (the poll says so too up till now ). I have 16" inch wheels on mine, which fills up the wheel arches nicely, but will slightly up your ride height too obviously.

No, probably not. Do you have a boost gauge? Mine got a small boostspike once I removed the restriction, well obviously it had the spike before it, just got slightly worse without the restriction. But normally it shouldn't give any problems, EP82s don't even have them.

What front lip does this Glanza have? Looks like one piece and not just some random splitter stuck to the OEM lip. This one has it too: Not that I like it, but just haven't seen a lip like that before.

Mine is fitted like this (t-piece just behind the oil filler cap): But obviously it doesn't really mather were you put it I suppose, as long as its the right hose lol.

Cool video, just watched it. The R34s disadvantage is obviously it's weight, I'd still take the R34 though, cause it will probably be faster anywhere else then in the mountains or a tight circuit and it's probably luxurious too (at least that's what the guy was saying in the end about shaving weight off etc.).

Don't think it would be much more expensive then RON98, heres some Benzinpreise (petrol prices) I just found. Normalbenzin 1,342 â?¬ Superbenzin 1,346 â?¬ SuperPlus 1,407 â?¬ I think the SuperPlus one is octane 100, but not really sure it's all german and shit.
