If the shell has spun I wouldn't use the rod again the rod surface were the shell sits In is machined so should be smooth I'd recomed changing it/them from description but a picture would be good

the rod and crank have shells in between is it them that look rough?

4 stut ford wont fit there pcd is 108mm the starlets are 100mm. What fits: corolla, mr2 (4stud), vauxhalls, vw........ loads when you search on ebay type in 4x100 you want an offset of 38 max, 37 to be safe or they will rub mine are 38 and with toyo t1r on 195/50/15 dont rub but i also have 1 budget tyre and it rubs just. if going for aftermarket alloys get some spigot rings to locate the wheel on the hub stops steering wheel wobble at speed.
