as mickyboy said are you 100% sure its not a JAM actuator as they look identical to the standard actuator but boost to 1bar which is what the JAM ecu is fueling for? If you have put the standard ecu on and are hitting fuel cut all the time can cause just as much damage as running lean!!

welcome mate get some snaps up we all like snaps!
-
Do u have a BOV on there to? sound like it. Take the vac pipe off it and block it off with a screw in the pipe and it will be mucho better! lol CHATTER FTW!!!!!
-
I've just unplugged mine it it make no difference what so ever to th idle My bro inlaw has compleatly taken it off and binned it and it made no difference to the idle what does make a difference is if you adjust the idle screw and if you put your fingers over the holes inside the throttle body, i dont care what people are saying it is on tgtt there wrong to. It is 100% not the ICV, will even get a vid of My car running and disconnect it and plug it back it if you want if you unscrew it off the throttle body and put your hand over the hole get someone to start ya car it will idle as normal try

-
very handy that lol but yeh i agree hose pipe jobby mate or you'll be polishing the shit out of it for a week..
-
The engine will just go bang how long have been running 1.4bar on stock internals?
-
the oil filter is sat just under the power streering pump easy to get to from under the car. It wont be on overly tight.
-
there should be a black rubber pipe on that connected to the recirc valve if its not attached it will whistle.
-
the engine only holds 2.5lt of oil mate how much did you put in?
-
more oil can cause a bend snap rod/crank as you cant compress oil so something will give when you say to much how much was it over the full mark on the dip stick?
-
though the dripping was from the front it wont be the feed pipe then..... as dan said check for play in the turbo shaft and for large amounts of oil in the intercooler.... there will alway be a little oil in there anyway.
-
just one question exhaust at the rear of the car or in the engine bay?
-
if you look at the oil filter, its attached to a re-location adapter which is were the oil feed comes from. Its attached with a big banjo bolt loosten that and give the pipe a wiggle to see if it moves if it does as its a solid pipe is snapped
-
I'd prob pop up from 0.5-4 hours lol
-
not 100% but sounds like your oil feed to turbo has snapped/cracked get it checked asap and if it was mine i wouldnt run it as you'll be loosing oil pressure thats how markoos ended up needing a new engine
-
thats not the ICV!!! its to do with the vac reservoir which goes round the back of the manifold why do you think the idle screw is on you throttle body?? that thing holds vacuum in the needed vac lines so you have a constant vacuum supply like to the brake servo you control the idle at the throttle body.
-
the gray plastic cylinder on the off side of the manifold is a vac reservoir valve if you look it only goes to vac operated stuff. 100% the ICV is on the underside of the throttle body there would be no reason why a ICV would be on the opposite side of the TB.
-
Were about are you?
-
The icv is under the throttle body not on the side I've posted this up somewere before I'll go find EDIT: http://www.ukstarletclub.com/forums/index....c=28426&hl=

And on the stock manifold the retriction in runner 3 will kill ya engine if the boost don't bend a rod first
-
Throttle possition sensor it's a little black box on the rear of the throttle. If its not telling the ecu the throttles closed it will idle all funny.
-
Clean out the throttle body and re-setup TPS sounds like your problem.
