On my electrical and electronic engineering HNC, I did.... When my kids stand right in front of TV, the other two couldn' t see what was on, so designed a device so the TV automatically switched off when one of them got to close untill they moved away which then the TV would automatically turn back on. Which got me a double distinction. I know its not mechanics but Might give you ideas of what you should be looking at doing.

There less than 15quid new rob and they tend to go faulty mate and make car over fuel, best bet get new one.

Maybe socks not decided yet, I've not even got a build thread for it over on our site, I can tell you what I did to the Glanza though! Lol
