  1. Ste have you actually seen a jam manifold and a standard manifold in your hands and seen the differnce. I have and after you've ported the standard manifold the difference is minimal, by porting the standard mani you wont weaken it if you do it correctly, it will be the same strength as before and even better if you polish it up after. As this strengthen the manifold by removing imperfection in the cast, I recon theres more chance of the mani cracking before it ported on standard boost than after running 1bar. I've had my ported mani on for 6months running 1bar for most of the time and I've had no problems what so ever and alot of other people will tell you the same thing. Granted your not going to see the same gains as a zisco, wepr, race-tech or similar. But the price difference of porting a standard mani and getting a jam one, Imo Its not worth it but that my opinon and I wont change my mind.
  2. yeh is behind krispycreams in the costco bit just easier to explain to people
  3. Yeh nice one craig you bully . miib see if you can get like an hour off or something theres a few which have done that in the past but if not theres alway next time the last few we've had a really good turn out of alsorts of jdm cars and some jdm wanabes lol
  4. Hammerite FTW!!!
  5. Been told if you bang some high octain fuel in it will lower the emitions plus some injector cleaner to clear the shit from the injectors "go figure"
  6. Looking good phil it takes effort to mod a glanza and to go to the length you have converting an N/A..... I like, its very nice yehhhh. loving them rear lights on yours and geo's might have to find a set?
  7. Yeh deffo if I knew the system woulld of been fine tuneable with a gcc I would have sauced it when I bought the f-con. if he can get them both together and wants to sell me the gcc :)
  8. You don't need the gcc for this to work, I never got one with mine, its just fine control of the injector pulse at rpm increments i'm sure the gcc is a add on and i'm looking for one for my system.
  9. Thanks guys and girls I'm really glad i done this now from all the comments i'm not sure if it'll work with the strut brack as its such a small area but I may aswell try.

  11. I dipped a kebab stick in some paint and flicked it mate.
  12. Glanza v's should not be done the same as uk spec mot's it should only meet minmum regulation as its an import and not built to uk spec and the mot garage should know that, it should only have to pass a idle emitions test, they souldn't have to rev it durring the test. and that goes for all none uk spec/imported cars.
  13. I had a scare a few nites ago so I took my gear leaver compleatly off 4 bolts and 3 clips (try nick that ya twats). thats unlil they rush my house for the fucking thing.
  14. Yeh u can over fuel but easest way side exit or flammer kit
  15. No the ecu its designed to run with the stock fuel system upto 250bhp. Just decat, decent mani or port yours, port wastegate, exhaust system airfilter, boost gauge and wack up the boost and set it up or better still have it setup by a pro on the rollers so he can check ya fueling and they will also be able to give you an estimated flywheel print out too.
  16. yeh i had mine pluged in far ages while i got set up just set the thing to 0 (stock fueling) and its like its not there then you can turn it up while ya driving when setting it up just make sure you at least have a exhaust gas gauge and sensor on and working check my build thread i have pictures of mine being fitted. and yes 200bhp is acheveable with the supporting mods the ecu can fuel upto 250bhp on standard injectors after that you need to uprate the injectors
  17. Its a piggyback ecu that is mapable without a computer via a screw with 10 setting, 0 being stock up to 9 and a exhaust temp gauge, it only controls fuel managment not timing, and is very old now but does a good job I'm running 1bar with one and on full beans exhaust temps are 800degrees need a HKS fcd for it to work on anything over stock boost as they are degsined to work togeather.
  18. mine seemed to sit just on the edge of the highest bit in the picture were its gone through so you can take the hole bulb out, the threads seal it anyway and the cast Jam maifold is the same (exposed threads) runner 2 is the same You just cant see it, stick you fingers in and feel it! then go at it till its gone.
  19. It looks like the restiction has not been removed from runner 3 in the pictures? You need to compleatly get rid of that bulge, dont worry about going into the threads of the bolt as it dont screw that far into the threads anyway.
  20. Welcome along Mate enjoys ya self and happy hunting.
  21. Thanks For the feedback guys glad you like I've now added Fitted pictures hope You like! @ jerone. No mate i think this is the only thing in this style i'm going to do but now i need to decide what i'm doing with the inlet mani.
