  12. Once upon a time there was a boy with a starlet Then after fitting some glanza side skirts he decided the n/a bumper just wasn't deep enough and not wanting to make a gaylanza he decided to do something a bit different and extend the n/a bumper. After a small incident with a pheasant while on a enthusiastic drive home. Said bumper was temporarily fixed While another bumper was being made in preparation for intercoolerage. At the last show of the year (JAE) we attacked it with a sharpie. After said intercoolerage was fitted we had to butcher the new bumper to get the HDI cooler and pipes which looked aweful So in desperation to get the car ready for japfest we went back to the pheasant damaged graffiti'd bumper cut out a section which runs up one side all the way around and then back down the opposite side. Hen as a tempory measure the holes were covered in gaffa tape for mot purposes. Then the entire bumper got covered in gaffa tape to see out the season while a sexy new bumper is being created. But that's top secret for now. That's the story of the bumper. Lol
  13. You'll have to wait and see. But it should be good.
  14. Sorry MattyD only just seen this. The bonnet lifters are just gt boot struts. One end is held in with tech screws to the bonnet, the other has a Ball joint with a threaded end. I made some brackets which attach to the wings and tapped them to accept the threaded ball joints. Hth Well after a rushed couple of days I managed to get the car semi ready, I'd got loads of bits I wanted to get done but with work and rain I was massively behind with my to do list. But by Wednesday night it was looking like this. And after a quick bath and the run to JAE, Now it's time to think about what the plans are for the winter. So the new "to-do" list will be complied shortly. Rob
  15. Cheers John, congrats to all. All the categories were very close as usual, 2 of them only separated by one vote. Flynn we had just under 30 ep's at different times of the weekend. And about 6 or 7 others. Rob
  16. Just wanted to say a quick thanks to everybody that made the annual pilgrimage to JAE. It made for an awesome weekend, full of great memories. A special thanks to all those that helped getting equipment a there this was a massive struggle as always but we managed to get everything there but plans are already a foot to make next year a bit easier and give us a bigger and better stand. Roll on JAE 2014, see you all there. Rob, John, Matt and the rest of the team. XXX
