seen some levin calipers and discs for £60 want something thats going to stop well as ill be running td04 at a bar eventually. either levins eor keep saving for some wms or similar.
-
Yea sounds like much less hassle just weighing up what options i have and how much there going to realistically cost. right so a mk 4 astra 1.7 diesel disc turning down the inside of the bell by about 0.5 mm lol
-
yea ive seen the wiki but i knew someone had found some nai on direct fit discs as im weighing up my brake options for the sr.
-
What removed from the inside wall of the bell so it centres over the hub? Also vauxhall mk4 what ? Astra?
-
Lol I think that helps mate at least we're all in the same boat and yea if it's turning over with those spare plugs we must be on the right track.
-
Like it says what discs are a direct fit for this conversion? I'm sure some kne said they had found some off a BMW or something. Rob

From what I understand you should/will have some spare plugs. I've not got my engine in yet but when I do I will be connecting the battery up to see what works and what doesn't. As for looms Ive used the glanza boot loom. Ive got pics of the plugs I have spare I'll upload them at some point see if anyone can identify them. Rob

Right after deciding I couldn't be arsed to rip the dash back out to change the support bar and column. O I decided to modify the n/a mounting plate to take the glanza stalks after a bit of head scratching and grinding it worked result. And all back together. Just waiting on my hoses from cj performance then I can get the engine in and my turbo kit is being delivered by initial Dave the 2nd weekend in August. I can't wait -
Looking awesome Joel.

im just going to put this out there so dont shout at me thy are no longer chgeap to insure and they are a 13-16 year old car. you can pick a 9 year old ep3 type r up for 3k. just a thought. Rob
-
Is it a cj performane alternator pulley? If so Which alternator are you running? As there are 2 different types with different diameter shafts. So if it doesn't fit that's why. Nice to see some progress though as this deserves to be being driven. Rob
