  1. haha, we just got our 1st to settle through the night without waking us up before having another baby and bam, still no sleep. Been awake today since 4 and couldn't get back to sleep, whilst the misses and baby are out in minutes. Not fair!
  2. Does the plastic shifter part need to come out, carpet n all? or can it all be done in place.
  3. This is great, cheers. Do you know how much the replacement cables cost and how long did it take you to fit? Or is it worth me just paying someone to do the job properly!
  4. Right guys, We've had a look and it does appear to be connected at the gearbox end, and you can see the linkage/mechanism move when the gears are engaged. One thing I've noticed is that the cable doesn't seem to sit in the hole. When I pushed it in, it seemed to engage one of the gears. When going back to neutral, it popped back out. I've uploaded a video to here : http://www.alanarnold.co.uk/glanza2/IMG_0698_Gearlink.MOV'>http://www.alanarnold.co.uk/glanza2/IMG_0698_Gearlink.MOV - and picture below. How do I fix this!? Thanks guys
  5. Got England / Germany both to win. Can't see Germany throwing a 4-1 lead away, so just need England to bang a few in
  6. Any online bookie will tell you the odds. Come on England!
  7. I'd just run a standard CT9 at one bar. Can be done safely on standard injectors etc.
  8. Got mine resprayed as it looked awful, and a few others touched up. I don't think there's much that will prevent it from happening

  11. Ahh ok, cheers will check that out. At least you've not said new gearbox etc so that's encouraging
  12. I couldn't see anything broken but it's hard to tell, the car is so low. Didn't see anything hanging down when I looked in the engine bay. If it was broken, I can't see how id be able to engage first gear?
  13. Hey guys Car has been set for a week and when parked, it was running alright. Drove it about half a mile but my gear lever went soft / no resistance. I tried to downshift into second and there was nothing there, the engine just revved as if I was in neutral. I managed to get first and parked her, but I cannot get any other gear apart from first. The clutch feels fine, and I couldn't see any hydrolic leaks. Also if I put it in reverse for example, the gear stick stays in the reverse position but I'm still in neutral. Not getting any strange noises from the gearbox though. Is it something up w
  14. I've got Goodyear Eagle F1's too and great on the road. Didn't have much confidence in them on the track through so I may buy a spare set of wheels and some 888's for the track.
  15. They're great. One of the best handling cars i've been in and pretty powerful too. Turbo ones etc, and can't beat having the roof down!
  16. by the way, i'm going up the day before and staying at the Days Inn, Donington, not far from the circuit at all. http://www.daysinn.co.uk/hotels/united-kingdom/derby/days-inn-donington-a50/rooms-rates?srcDestination=&partner_id=&srcBrand=&campaign_code=&checkout_date=07%2F07%2F2013&children=2&useWRPoints=false&ratePlan=BAR&teens=0&affiliate_id=&brand_code=BH%2CDI%2CRA%2CBU%2CHJ%2CKG%2CMT%2CSE%2CTL%2CWG%2CWY%2CPX%2CWT%2CWP%2CPN&iata=&adults=2&checkin_date=06%2F07%2F2013&rooms=1 Usually get quite a few modified cars parked there, ro

  19. Same here. Just not worth the risk really, especially considering how cheap larger family cars are to buy these days. Can't put a price on your family's safety
