They don't look standard/optional, surely they would have matched the trim colour. Any Toyota part number on them?
-
Ok mate thanks for the tip, will check that out too.
-
Plugs were fitted last September and hardly been driven much, but i'll check those tonight. The leads are a few years old. I've got the Magnecor KV85's. I will replace the cap/rotor first and go from there

I've got an ignition issue when I hit boost, and the car mis fires a bit. I had my head gasket changed to an Athena 1.4mm last week and nothing else has changed, but the car was spot on before the HG was replaced. I was told to check my cap and rotor arm, crappy I phone photos i'm afraid. Do these need replacing? I've tried cleaning them up a bit bit no improvement Cheers Arnold

Got the head gasket replaced but now have a misfire on boost! And I'm having another tyre fitted tomorrow after a nail went through it
-
Where abouts in the bay is that part located? I've had my air con out and not sure where that would sit.
-
One thing I was always taught is that just because something is new, doesn't mean it isn't the problem . I've got a miss fire issue too since having my HG replaced and it's proving to be a pain to troubleshoot.
-
Why do you need to buy one? I've got my car running 218hp just with an uprated pump and Emanage.
-
That's also the route I'd recommend.

I did a 15.0 as couldn't get the power down, and that was a full car of seats, crap, tools etc + passenger too -
I'm going, see you there

Fuck that's terrible, can't imagine how you feel but completely understandable why you wouldn't want to drive. It happened to my friend who hit a woman standing in the motorway, and she didn't survive. Not really his fault but the car was seized for two years, when he got it back, it was sold straight away. You just have to do what feels right for you, but I hope at least they do find you innocent
-
He sold it mate, I got one of them
-
Nice to meet you earlier mate and a bummer you had issues. Hope you get it sorted!
-
You may see my car then as I'm picking it up after 12 Mines a td04 with an EMU running 0.9 bar as well They sure do. Ed is an electronics expert and can map standard Nissan Ecu's and other stuff too

Boost creep could have made you hit fuel cut, plus different air temperature or driving conditions from when you were setting it up in the evening to the following morning may have made a difference to how the car ran

Got a message from Fusion Motorsport around 6am this morning that they've been working through the night making sure my car rebuilt, tested and ready for the BHP show this weekend. Just thought i'd share that as that is unbelievable service! They've got about 8 cars in to get done for this weekend http://www.fusion-motorsport.co.uk/about-us.html You can see my new rocker cover fitted too

Can't wait for this either, looks amazing. What shops/websites have you guys pre-ordered it? -
Welcome fella

My headgasket went last week although showed different symptoms to yours. My coolant reservoir was beyond full and pissing out all over the engine bay. Rather than risk making things worse, you should get the head off and skimmed etc. From what i've read too, and the route i'm taking, is to replace it with an Athena metal gasket instead of OEM, plus new head bolts etc.

Same. I've chosen to do the 15 min session around 12am, in between the open pit sessions, just so I can have a blast on the track and be able to drive home. I don't think people realise how quick it is to destroy tyres and over heat stuff around a circuit, especially after 4 hours! I've got Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres on mine and they seem to cope with a lot of abuse, and grip brilliantly.

The belts ideally should be as straight as possible. Strut braces and C pillar braces aren't as strong as roll bars so in the event of a crash, the belts may not support you. Same as if the harnesses aren't straight, you can get spinal compression from being pulled downwards. A roll bar / cage is the best option. I bought buckets with the intent on fitting 4 points but was advised against it without a cage. If you fit a cage and don't have a helmet then that can kill you as well! Tough one really.

Loose bolt or something, as probably vibration. My whole car vibrates since adding poly mounts!
