500bhp Glanza up north somewhere?! might be BS...
TurboTobz replied to threehundred's topic in Lifestyle General
I couldn't agree any more! I've never used a garage, only thing I've ever taken my car to a garage for is an MOT I have a lot of respect for people who do more than just polish and pay -
Yeah it looks amazing on current consoles, imagine them on next gens with better capabilities

Ah, I wouldn't imagine he'd hold anything against you he's busy a lot of the time, ask him it's worth a crack. I think he'll understand. -

TD rollers are 'heartbreakers' from what I hear? The hub dynos seem pretty decent, I see rd.tv had robs sr on em, gives what seem to be pretty realistic results -

Edit nvm probably not! -
Id imagine they developed it for both platforms/engines at the same time, think of it everyone's getting shot of ps3s they're margins would be smaller unless they released it for next gens, I maybe wrong though it's a shot in the dark

project Impulse Purchase (threehundred's Glanza V)
TurboTobz replied to threehundred's topic in EP91 Glanza Progress Blogs
Nice car that, good to see more glanzas near Kent and Essex area -
Basically a valve operated by your actuator it releases the exhaust gasses bypassing the turbine to ensure you only hold the desired boost levels, you can weld these (some places don't like to because the hosings are cast) or you can actually buy a bracket that holds it closed.

eBay is the cheapest there's a dealer on there has the plx, aems and innovate widebands which are some of the most popular and reliable systems and they're the cheapest I could find with 24h delivery free. They were based in London, I had the plx dm6 as it was slightly more expensive but boasted massive features over the others including capacitive touch screen and plots graphs in real time and can be linked with up to 6 different modules of your choice to display anything from boost, rpm to oil pressures etc, and also supported data loging

People use 106 ones there's a guide on tgtt I think

If they said they'd release on next gen few people would buy it on older consoles and just wait, it's just a business scheme, if they hadn't missed the earlier release dates I'm sure it would have been announced for ps4 by now. Game are doing a deal if you have say cod ghosts on ps3 say you buy ps4 you get £40 trade in value to upgrade to the ps4 version, this is on all games afaik. So if they announce ps4 release of gta and you fancey upgrading it to ps4 version it'll cost you a small amount.

Not in a million years, it'd put so much strain in big names. Also it's a very basic idea, it's not full of logic really

No I mean a maintained engine will not last forever lol, but maintenance and driving with respect does help
-
I think that's a little bit inaccurate lol

get the map done for your car, keept the fpr and save for the mapping while running the fcd, or even safer would be to run under fuel cut boost and sell that fcd and put the pennies towards some map time

Only really a good idea if you have an external wastegate setup, the internal wastegate decat/screamer combos are hard to get right and 99% of them blow on idle. If you have an ewg go on ebay and buy a screamer and bolt it on, costs £16, you could quiet easily make one though small 38mm flange to be made which can be made yourself with basic equipment, and some stainless piping and some welding of course.

Boost controller with external wastegate
TurboTobz replied to Glanza-Ben's topic in Intake, Turbo & Exhaust
Turn your controller around, check the sliding knob is slid over to 'wg' (wastegate, instead of actuator). Top port to the OUT on the solenoid (the bit in your engine bay with nipples) IN on the solenoid should goto a vac/boost source. Bottom port of turbosmart to the nipple on the side of the turbo -
waiting for them to announce it for ps4 I know they say it's only on older platforms but from what I was told it's just a clever way to make a few more £'s. If it doesn't get released on them I'll cry as I just sold me ps3 before the depreciate any more!

Had a set of indiglos from Ryan, perfect came quick, dealt with him a few times now and always a smooth transaction (bar royal mail losing items I sent him lol but not our fault!)
