  9. I have a Fujitsubo Power Getter off the demo car, the best aftermarket system available IMO.
  10. I'm glad these went to a good home, they were one of my favourite parts on the demo car. Very nice to meet you again too, true gent.

  13. An update on this. I got the engine fitted almost a month ago, got everything connected up but the engine wouldn't turn. So after a bit of quick bit of investigation I realized the clutch was fouling the gearbox. This was due to the flywheel/clutch being slightly thicker than the stock ones. No biggie I thought, took the gearbox off and purchased an OEM LSD box. Modified it to fit and after trial fitting it a few times, the engine was freely turning (by hand). Once again I got everything connected back up but the starter still wouldn't turn the engine. Checked and replaced all the earth cables, power lead, battery and finally the starter motor. Still nothing. Tried another starter motor which worked for about 10 seconds and then died too. Both these starter motors work perfectly fine when they're off the car! So once again I tried yet another starter motor which turned the engine twice and that died too (as if it's low on power). I tested the power on the power cable and there was more than enough, the power cable was only about 50cm long (as opposed to the 3m wire used when the battery was in the boot). This is when I just gave up as my schedule is way too busy to be messing about with the car so she is now being broken. On a brighter note though, none of the coloured body panels are for sale. Eventually I will return the car to stock (or near stock). One last picture for now.
  14. Nice, shame it's an Auto
  15. Bolt it back on and carefully bend the bracket it back to stop it fouling.
  16. Awesome build, I'm keeping a close eye on this!
  17. It is a strange one, the flywheel came off a running car too apparently. I haven't noticed it get hot but I'll try to crank it over again and see if it gets hot.
  18. No funny noises whatsoever Grant
  19. I've now tried 3 starter motors in total, all three of them work perfectly fine off the car. I can't think of anything else other than a flywheel issue, as it is a fair bit thicker than a standard one so maybe that's causing a fault or maybe it has the wrong number of teeth! I will inspect it all when it's off the car
  20. Yes Dan, I've had jump leads connected to another running car each time I've tried to crank it. I only want to crank it over (not start it) so these are the only wires I've got on there that matter, I've replaced them with new cables too but nothing. Live from battery to starter motor Earthed battery Ignition wire to starter motor Live from starter to alternator ECU wire to alternator Wiring loom plug in the alternator I also removed everything related to the alternator and connected a 12V live straight to the ignition connector on the starter motor, I really thought that would get it to work but nothing. I've checked the power to the starter motor and it's sucking up more than twice of what it should, but it's still not enough power. I might leave the shell with the bodykit tucked up in the corner for a few years, we've got a lot of new racking and stock coming over the next few weeks though so the space is required more than the car! One things for sure; it's not an electrical fault. It's got to be something mechanical, I think there's a problem between the flywheel/starter motor. Maybe the flywheel doesn't even fit right (4E Aasco flywheel drilled out for a 5E) but it did come off a running car. I still want to get to the bottom of the problem whether I am breaking it or not!
  21. Don't even bother mate, they don't come off easy (at all)! Out of interest, why do you want them off?
