Totally agree Rob but it could all be utilised at all off the shows/events. The club and it's members are the ones to take it forward, never easy when we start talking money, now dont anyone take this wrong but WE all spend fortunes on parts!!! so £5 per year is not a lot to ask to allow the club to move forward. I 'm sure this fund would all be managed by the admin team to ensure that it is not just frittered away. Heres hoping we can take the club to the next level. John

Excellent idea but we need to generate funds to be able to purchase the products. The raffle idea with traders supporting would be a one off, and kick start the fund to allow the club to be able to purchase the above!! Do the traders at the moment actually pay to advertise/sell on here?? As stated by Phil, not everyone will attend shows/track days but if they are a paying member they must recieve some kind of benifit, as i already stated on some sites you can not buy or sell unless you are a paying member. Exactly my point, we just need ideas to generate money!!!!! As already stated how about a raffle with stuff donated by our traders??? An area were only subscribing members can view, for example the for sale section wether you are selling or purchasing, again an idea Surely there are other people with ideas???? John

Below are a few comments i have posted in the JAE 2011 thread On another note, are we as individuals going to donate to a fund to allow the club stand to be bigger and better than last year, if everyone who is on the stand donates £5 i'm sure this would help towards getting things up and running. Sounds like the oil feed to the turbo, this fracture often one way round this is a racetech braided oil feed, thing is when they fracture first you know is the engine knocks and unless you are running guages, oil pressure, temp etc it will have dropped it all before you know it!!! Hope its not too damaged John

Off subject, what about a raffle for the club supported with prizes from the traders on here?? Mods any takers to pester the traders? Are there any other suggestions to raise club funds?? Do we want to take the club forward even though as members you are proabley the youngest individuals that own performance/modded cars Maybe a thread should be started asking the question in how as a group of enthusiasts we take UKSC forward Just my penny's worth John

As a club this has to be the way forward, otherwise we as a club will always be behind the other clubs, second class citizens and i feel after attending all the shows this year we ARE better than that and just need to sort it!!!!!. Rob is in the process of setting up the account and i'm sure he will post the details once sorted. This will be the way to take the club stands forward, hopefully it will be used for all stands this year
