No your dump valve will be fine its connected to your cooler piping and the vac pipe from that goes to your inlet mani there will be a t piece on that pipe and that goes to your boost gauge? Im not 100% on the set up for EBC's but i believe the vac pipe from your ebc should go to the bottom of your waste gate and the other vac nipple on the wastegate is for the vac pipe to the turbo. (someone can correct me if thats not 100% right.) Since everyone is saying it are you defo sure youve not got a leak? No worries.

Aye mate well id defo give that a go to start with as I cant see it being the turbo like i said would likely be more smoke if that was the case. Try that hard wire it in and see how you get on that way. Do you have a mechanical boost gauge?

Is the turbo a 'known good one'? Turbos with damaged comp wheels can be know to whistle there tits off with the wooooOOOoo noise you mentioned. Also is the wg new or used as that could be at fault also. Id say remove the plumbing for the EBC to start with and just plumb the waste gate in normally to see if it boosts. If so then its your EBC not set up correctly altho it sounds to me more like the wastegate as id imagine the turbo would smoke if it was in that bad a state.

Sounds to me both the problems could be because of your brakes but as said above could be any of the mentioned.

I see your point but at the same time most folk wont be able to DB theirs and I was basing this on peoples opinions on the exhausts so expected people to give them different ratings that way someone new can read over it and decide for themselves. Like i mentioned though everyones input is welcome and if you can get your DB level by all means put it down as every bit of info helps. Theres plenty of systems out there so get adding yours and your opinion of it. Could also have price new and 2nd hand what you should expect to pay.

Thought starting this might be handy for new comers and people looking to buy a different exhaust for their car, also im bored at work and wanted somthing to do. So the idea is to have a list with the different main exhaust options for both the EP82 and 91, how loud they are and what they should look like too would be handy to help people know if they are getting a complete genuine article or if it is a 'cut and shut' effort. Going the other way i have a Nur Spec R for a 91 and want something quieter haha

Just get whatever is in your budget other than cheap ebay stainless ones unless you can get one thats got a few extra braces on it. Also helps to have a braced de cat takes alot of wieght off the mani.

Lolsss Ill crack the jokes. Its STILLLLL away getting fixed was pissing smoke and hes getting a racing seal for it there has been issues. Cant wait to get it on sounded the tits even tho was only boosting 0.4 bar.
