Lol I love watching inexperienced folk doing bushes it makes me happy. A vice and a hack saw is absolutely vital mate a diagonal cut through the bush then hammer it off with a big screwdriver. Being fair thats not the worst guide I've seen just a few long ways round a short cut.

Make sure all connections are sealed. Top up reservoir with fluid. Get someone to sit in the car and pump the pedal. Once they have pressure, hold pedal on and crack the furthest away bleed nipple being the n/s/r, fluid will shoot out and pedal will hit the floor. With pedal still depressed. Tighten bleed nipple to prevent air being drawn back in. Pump again until pressure and hold pedal on...crack nipple. Repeat this multiple times at every caliper going n/s/r - o/s/r - n/s/f - o/s/f being sure to top up fluid as you go. Until fluid flows from each nipple steadily with no

Best manifold on the market. Fit it crank up the boost to 1.2 bar and you will fly like the wind bullseye. -
You got pics of the other parts?
-
You top up the reservoir? Have you checked its not still leaking?

I feel ill On a serious note though. Gather together your savings....if you dont have any then sell your car. Pay for one of those 6-12 month courses to become a central heating engineer and get your gas ticket. Good job, great pay I havent done it myself but know a few people who have and its been a success for them. Don't entertain the mechanic thing or apprenticeships you'll get paid buttons and mechanics aren't mechanics any more we are glorified fitters. Its a dying trade and soon they will all be electricians. Controversial maybe but if you take the head out the clouds alot

Ok I'll see how it goes.

Nice one mate. Think for £40 I cant really go wrong. I'm going to be getting it painted within the next year anyway so it wouldn't be the end of the world. Suppose I'll give it a whirl.
-
Aye exactly I really dont want to flare the arch. Literally just want the turned in lip rolled smooth so that it doesnt catch on my tyres as ive fitted spacers and I'm going to drop my coilies.
-
Its an ep91 and its mainly the rears that need to be done. Wheels are going to catch if i I dont. Taking out the coily isnt a prob the cars in pieces just now anyway I was just more interested in how hard it was and how well it works lol.
-
So whos done this? I mean done it in the literal aspect as Ive seen you can get the rolling arms on ebay for about £40 which will be cheaper than a bodyshop would charge I'd imagine pluse then I can do it for folk in future and make my money back. So how hard it is? Are the stories of the paint cracking real or is it just myth? Would you just use a hair dryer to heat up the arch and paint then roll? Cheers

Replace them without a shadow of a doubt.

Either that or a hole in the front of the drum around the wheel studs? Isn't your on hand mechanic able to help? For a mechanic this is the most basic of basic things to do. As for them catching when you were assembling them off the car you should screw the adjustment right in. Go inside the car and loosen off the adjustment on the handbrake (10mm nut) then attach the handbrake cable to the shoes. hold the shoes in place and fit the 2 spring clips that hold them in place. Once you've done that take a dremmel with a grinding stone on it or a piece of emery paper if you dont have on

Nobody want to TD04 on the cheap???

Personally I think that looks awful..... Your SR looks sweet as f*** its practically out the wrapper. IMO I agree 110% with Pikey but at the end of the day it's your car. Like he said though if you want a Glanza then.....buy a Glanza. I literally would put on the back bumper and not go an inch further well maybe clear indicator lenses but that's all. You wont know how lucky you are to have such a good example that you have until its lost.

Same this could be interesting. Good work so far. -
Warm Idle on most cars is about 800rpm. Cold will be about 1200. If it didn't kill the engine though I suppose that means there isnt one.
-
If its constantly idling at 1500 thats almost double idle speed. Sound like a stick on theres a loose/missing/split vac pipe.
-
Absolutely ruins a car. Pointless in saving 10-15kgs. Will make it practically undriveable on anything other than a warm dry day. Noisey, rattley, cold, damp and pretty much secures the future of your car as a breaker.

Use the img code mate youve used one of the other ones.
-
As above could be multiple things. Could be damaged? Did you clean the surface with emery paper before fitting? Did you oil the seal before you fitted it?
-
Empty it when it fills up thats the idea is it not?

Make a photo bucket account on your fone with the app. Upload the pics to photobucket. Copy and paste the IMG code into your post on here. Hey presto pics appear.
