  1. It most likely isnt but it doesn't look right. Fiesta ST has side skirts which helps its profile. There is non in that image of the yaris. Back end is nice though. Didn't read the article just noticed they will provide more than 210bhp which if they keep their words is exactly what they need to do, step outside the box. 210+ is high for this category.
  2. Great looking starlet. Doubt the engine is hiding much looks pretty standard.
  3. Agreed Phil, dont get me wrong they are still plastic fantastic but its not a premium brand. If anyone was keen I would advise to make sure they buy a 180bhp model. Other than the obvious lack of quality ( on par with a ford ) it has been a great little car does about 45mpg and is nippy and fun, looks good with the right wheels IMO and they are easily the best sounding factory supermini I genuinely dont know how abarth made a 1.4 sound so good.
  4. Bought my corsa 3 and a half years old with 17k on the clock. Traded it in 2 and a half years later with 56k. During ownership: I got about 27 mpg Cost £280pa road tax Replaced both rear wheel bearings twice Blown head gasket Slipping clutch Wiper linkage faulty "performance" engine that delivered all its power within 500rpm you'd have thought it was a diesel Terrible handling car Bonnet bubbled and needed replaced 2 months after purchased ( covered under warranty ) If you sit in the seats for longer than an hour you will need spinal surgery Basically the b
  5. That yaris is hideous did they just give it a stupid paint job and forget to add a body kit looks like its on stilts? You can almost guarantee that it will only get between 140-180 bhp and land it in the underwhelming power category.
  6. Corsa VXR is the worst Car I've ever owned if you are looking for owners reviews all I can say is DO NOT buy one. Have an Abarth 500 just now which is considerably better, the Punto Abarth is a very nice little car, I was afraid of the brand but (touch wood) Ive had no issues what so ever bar wear and tear. He's said £15k, they are nearer 40 lmao.
  7. Sure you dont want £1000? Isn't that the done thing now? Lovely wheels mate GLWS.
  8. Try something no one else has done, like TD04.
  9. Haha when I seen it I thought god thats a starlet recaro should that be in a house. Cracking all the same mate very jealous.
  10. I had a similar chair in my old work for break times. Made from a recaro out an old ford and some metal box tubing that I cut and bolted together to make a frame.
  11. Spray or brush some sort of fuel onto it. You dont need to submerge it. Work the fuel into the grime and dirt then leave it for a while re-applying more fuel and working in if need be. Then pressure wash it clean and dry it in front of a space heater.
  12. Did you have the coil off? Or the king lead? If its getting fuel and it ran before the gearbox change then it cant be fuel or compression. Which means the problem is ignition. Map sensor is the other side of the engine, coolant temp sensor would cause it to run rough and difficulty to start but it WOULD start and run. Which leaves power to the coil and knock sensor. Sooooooo I still think its an earth lol.
  13. Please dont do this to the headlights, I beg you.
  14. The comments on here saying people should of made replica's are hilarious. Beginners guide on how to make bad business decisions.
  15. No mate, basic skills for this is a no go. You need to be competent working on car engine to even so much as entertain this. Also the head doesn't need to come off, theres a way to do it without removing the head but it takes even more competency.
  16. Get a K&N on there bud and an exhaust. Then just buy a manual boost controller to turn the boost right up and get it chipped. Will be rapid then.
  17. Always use my phone but on desktop view because the mobile view is terrible.

    pcv valve

Easy peasy to get them out in tact. Cover them in oil and take the valve out then the rubber comes out no probs. Other option is to heat it up with a hair dryer as well does the same sorta thing I've had success both ways.
  21. Surely it wouldnt have got scrapped this is worth more to someone as a garage ornament than scrap value you'd have to be off your titties on glue.
