Pretensioner is in the belt. The bit down by the hand brake is purely just a mechanical anchor nothing else.

There's a reason this has taken so long for someone to do. The build/running costs far outweigh the gains/noise. I wouldn't waste much more brain power on it.

A rolling road wont sort it unless you have some form of fuel management which I assume you dont. The only way to rectify this is to get a lower pressure spring in the waste gate.

They are fine for a daily depending on what your benchmark for a daily is. They are easy on fuel, cheap on tax, quick and fun. Yes they will be rattly, uncomfortable, cold and noisey but if you cant deal with that then you are in completely the wrong price bracket and need to spend an extra 15k on a BMW or Merc.

What do the connections matter? Theres a + and a - if they dont fit then cut off the connectors and fit the right ones. Head unit speaker combo? You've completely lost me now. If you dont know what your doing watch a youtube video or take it to an audio specialist.

Im assuming if the input shaft was stripped by the friction plate that you had to replace the input shaft when you rebuilt it? Have you torqued on the fly wheel? it might not be sitting flush when it was re-fitted to the engine post forging.

Its not a downgrade theres just a problem lol. How do you know it was 170 and its now 155 have you been on and off a dyno? Have you been having it mapped? What management is on it?

As the box for that JE gasket says MLS gasket so if it doesnt have different layers then not only is it a knock off but its a falsely advertised knock off. Personally mate I feel for you because youve paid for a quality product and received complete and utter garbage and the only people benefiting are the crooks that sent you that cheap tat for the price of an Athena gasket because you can be sure they aren't paying

1800 nowadays when you are 17 and just passed your test is actually a good price believe it or not I know of some people paying 2500+

I never actually noticed boost pressure I was more replying to the comment as he also seemed to be under the impression valve bounce is a good thing.

Just had it mapped at Tuning developments and it made 173 at JUST 6PSI! Also getting valve bounce! I have to agree with Ollie on this one seems like he thinks its a good thing. Just needs to say 1.3 on the log book and this one is a ding ding WINNER!! Why? Do you think a car with valve bounce should make more? Its a problem, obviously its going to be down on power.

If you ordered an Athena gasket and they sent a non Athena Gasket, why would you fit it? Surely you would contact the supplier and demand the known reputable branded gasket? I'm guessing the gasket is complete shit and that's what went wrong, even the packaging looks cheap and nasty.

Its the clutch or bearing, either way its a box off scenario.
