  1. Stay away from anyone that thinks faults with your car are good things.
  2. Cheers Phil for a sensible answer. Knew people would say just stick with Walbro if everyone only used what was tried and tested then they would have a monopoly on the market and charge what they like. No one is going to know if these are ok unless someone tries them. Think I'll give one of these or the one aeromotive one a go like Dan says.
  3. Those pipes go first because they are the ones that are exposed to the most extreme conditions ( closest to engine heat and oil which weakens them )
  4. If you want to get modding straight away and buy a relatively standard car then start off with a plug and play a wideband a mani and decat with an adjustable actuator. You will easily see 180+ with that for under £1k then as you carry on you can sell on the plug and play for basically what you paid for it and then move onto a piggy back once you have a better all round set up. Its instant bang for very little buck.
  5. Looking around for a fuel pump and seen these. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/252240784358?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Has anyone used these and whats the verdict is it worth going for or should I just pay the extra and get something tried and tested? Cheers
  6. Reflective tape if its really bothering you.
  7. People have tunnel vision and follow the crowd mate. Yes get it hybridised you will love it. Best move i ever made. Id spend 500 having a ct9 customised for extra 10hp before i would td04.
  8. What sort of boost and power though have you ever had it dynod? Tbh if its 200+ then colin has already lost.
  9. So if i were to buy a set that work out at £150 what is it going to be by the time they land at my door?
  10. If you want to stick with ct9 then stick with ct9 mate on the road its far more useable than td04. Been in a few td04s and been left far from impressed. Dont just jump on the bandwagon. Go for the set up you want and work away at improving it. Every little gain helps. Whats your set up mate?
  11. Wasn't implying anything I know your a reasonable guy more of a case of didn't want you to price yourself out of a sale unintentionally.
  12. Fits these. Fit to: Toyota Celica 1.6 AT160 85-89 Toyota Celica 1.6 STI 90-94 Toyota Celica 2.0 85-90 Toyota MR2 AW11 1.6 Toyota Corolla AE80 AE82 AE92 And they are £100 brand new as well. http://www.jdl-brakes.com/ferodo-ds2500-front-pads-fcp308h.html
  13. Yes mate the pin is on the exhaust side. If you need to rotate the cartridge then both will need to come off. Best having the oil feed parallel to the ground and the hot pipe facing down toward the FMIC for shortest route
  14. Take off the exhaust housing remove the pin with pliers and then refit it. Exactly like Adzy says unless you want a bit of metal floating about in your turbo like a complete novice.
  15. Apparently they want buyers not watchers, everyone go on ebay and add it to their work list just to annoy the arrogant prick.
  16. Mine was always sorta like this. Maybe not as bad as you are describing but still had the feeling all the same. Think it might be the ball joints.
  17. Yes its one of the first mods any one does on a starlet. I wouldn't knock the cat out the standard one in case you need it for MOT etc you can buy a ct9 decat relatively cheaply they are pretty common.
  18. What a shocker, Cheap tax and insurance it says on the advert, what a helmet.
  19. As colin says. Probs one of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-5-inch-Exhaust-Downpipe-3-bolt-Gasket-Nissan-300zx-/260875478510 or 3 inch I dunno what your exhaust is.
  20. Nice insight mate, I actually clapped eyes on an S1 for the first time about 3-4 months ago if my memory serves me right and I was actually quite impressed to see it. Something far more interesting that the usual Audi offering. I'm glad you enjoy it. Sorry mate but couldn't disagree more. I did see you commented on the thread we spoke about e92 BMW's, and I'm afraid most things old and japanese aren't even remotely in the same league. BMW isn't marketed as the ultimate driving machine for no reason. I'd have an e92 M3 over any old japanese car every single day of the week. Also an M3 is
  21. Im not comparing it to a 90's jap car lol. IMO audi's are far from lovely. Actually they are about as boring and drab as a car can possibly get, actually the only way to buy a less interesting car is to buy a VW.
  22. Shame all that doesn't change the fact that it is an AUDI
  23. I got it yesterday and I've been all over it since haha.
  24. You must have missed the other thread discussing this then? So I've to explain to you about my comment but I've not to mention the number 1 reason its went that way? Seems a little bit weird that.
  25. Its a forum mate, I'm entitled to my opinion just like you are, therefore I've given it on this subject, whether you like it or not.
