Those pipes go first because they are the ones that are exposed to the most extreme conditions ( closest to engine heat and oil which weakens them )

If you want to get modding straight away and buy a relatively standard car then start off with a plug and play a wideband a mani and decat with an adjustable actuator. You will easily see 180+ with that for under £1k then as you carry on you can sell on the plug and play for basically what you paid for it and then move onto a piggy back once you have a better all round set up. Its instant bang for very little buck.

What sort of boost and power though have you ever had it dynod? Tbh if its 200+ then colin has already lost.

If you want to stick with ct9 then stick with ct9 mate on the road its far more useable than td04. Been in a few td04s and been left far from impressed. Dont just jump on the bandwagon. Go for the set up you want and work away at improving it. Every little gain helps. Whats your set up mate?

Yes mate the pin is on the exhaust side. If you need to rotate the cartridge then both will need to come off. Best having the oil feed parallel to the ground and the hot pipe facing down toward the FMIC for shortest route

Take off the exhaust housing remove the pin with pliers and then refit it. Exactly like Adzy says unless you want a bit of metal floating about in your turbo like a complete novice.

Yes its one of the first mods any one does on a starlet. I wouldn't knock the cat out the standard one in case you need it for MOT etc you can buy a ct9 decat relatively cheaply they are pretty common.

I did see you commented on the thread we spoke about e92 BMW's, and I'm afraid most things old and japanese aren't even remotely in the same league. BMW isn't marketed as the ultimate driving machine for no reason. I'd have an e92 M3 over any old japanese car every single day of the week. Also an M3 is widely known as a far better drivers car than a c63 amg so I dont know how you can say mercs have drivers cars and BM's don't. M3's are pretty much the bench mark in standard that any fast coupe has to aim for, theres a reason for that.

Im not comparing it to a 90's jap car lol. IMO audi's are far from lovely. Actually they are about as boring and drab as a car can possibly get, actually the only way to buy a less interesting car is to buy a VW.

Shame all that doesn't change the fact that it is an AUDI
