  1. You tell us your results and we will tell you if they are ok. We dont know how much has been skimmed off your head regardless of HG thickness.
  2. Standard spark plugs should be considerably less than £20 for 4.
  3. Its on couch tuner mate. Absolutely superb IMO thoroughly enjoyed it.
  4. No the water will go down into your plugs. Breather filter normally releases crank case pressure not vaccum so no sooky.
  5. Wanted to swap my Nur Spec R for one of these for about 5 years. Need something slightly less noisy in my more mature state.
  6. Any stuff will do. If you plan to not touch it in a while then the red stuff is good for long life. If you are likely to be working on the car often and draining the coolant just use the cheap blue stuff.
  7. Sounds good mate cant imagine there is really anything to look out for there isnt a whole lot to go wrong is there lol.
  8. Have to agree with that I'd be more curious if there was a breaking list with parts, prices and pictures. Soon as I read check out my build thread for the parts, I switch off maybe thats just because I'm lazy.
  9. I dont think the market has slowed I just think the market on here has slowed because everyone goes through FB pages now. Shame really because this was always an excellent and busy forum and some of us dont have nor want FB.
  10. Completely agree with that mate. I always knew diaz was a poor choice of opponent on CMs part especially when you seen all the fanboys saying ohh cant wait till CM sparks him out in the first round. Anyone who knows anything about UFC knows that was never going to happen. As for aldo I know thats his sort of ritual but you can see from his body language something was all wrong from the beginning and of course what happened can happen to anyone but he lost the fight before it had even begun. I think as far as ufc goes right now CM is in a tough place. Potential fights are Edgar, khabib, fergu
  11. Engine could also be warm without the exhaust being warm. Might be all sitting in the back box which is going to be the coolest part of the exhaust and would need to reach 100 degrees+ to get rid of all condensation. I'd be 99% sure its condensation if not then your HG is fuuuuuuuu huckkkked. Is the ECU pnp or programmed?
  12. Just seen this, dunno where you get it that I'm jealous of him I didn't slate him. He has turned it into a bit of a circus. It was more a swipe at the people who now think they are UFC experts because they watch a few of his fights and interviews. That said, was 100% his best performance to date, up until now I think he was made to look good due to getting to pick and choose his fights but he looked great at the weekend, he was composed and confident (maybe a bit too much) but still a very good performance. As said above I think Alvarez game plan played a major part in it, he stopped
  13. Its all down to budgets and priorities. What matters most, power & fun or reliability & refinement. Loads of lovely cars out there I just hate everything VW, Audi, Skoda Seat, so I'd avoid those. Unless you want to be bored to suicide, then you definitely want one of those.
  14. Ufc fans or connor mcgregor circus fans lol?
  15. Have you welded before or got the equipment to weld? If not its a non starter. If you do then there is no need for a guide. Its a case of cut off the feet grind back the paint and weld them onto the new seats, nothing complex.
  16. Right so the 2 dots on the cam gears should line up in the middle with one another. When they do the notch on the crank pulley should line up with the arrow that is pressed into the water pump housing. If this all lines up at the same time then your engine is timed. To check ignition timing you need a strobe lamp. Ignition timing and engine timing are completely different things.
  17. From what I've picked up heard/read over time is that with a paint job all the work is in the prep. The skill I believe is obviously in laying the paint down and mopping it afterwards. That said the prep is where it will go right or wrong, but I think if youve never done it before then there is plenty margin for error. If using filler you need to get the mix bang on to avoid it deteriorating over time, and I believe without a smooth surface it is also difficult to spot/rectifiy small dents.
  18. Do you have a spark? Do you have fuel? Do you have compression? If yes then Is the belt timing correct? Is the ignition timing correct?
  19. http://www.ukstarletowners.com/topic/103746-nice-car-on-ebay-but-is-this-seller-on-drugs/
  20. This thing is cool, does it have a hydraulic handbrake?
  21. Right just to clear this up. All you need is the vac going from the compressor housing on the turbo to the top iirc nipple on the actuator. Absolutely everything else can be removed and pulled out. If you are still using the standard EFI pipe then just block off the nipple on that it isnt needed.
