  1. Its really doing my head in, i have been trying for 2 days to get it out and it just wont budge. The only thing i can think is that somehow the circlip has come of the end and has somehow jammed its self in the spline, arggghhh! somthing that should have taken 10 mins is now turning into a right ball ache

  3. Ok my gearbox which has got my lovely Quaiffe Diff in, has been doing my facking head in. I was going to take it out as it was jumping out of 5th gear all the time. However its developed a headache of a problem in that now its been impossible to get one of the CV cups out. The first came out no problem, but this one is completly stuck, I have taken it to a gearbox shop and had them try and get it out and still no luck, they even stuck it in a 5ton press to try and pop it out and it wouldnt come out!!! So now my problem is that i have a box thats popping out of 5th and i cant get my diff out.

  18. Finally some progress, I have been working on it up my mates house so its drastically slowed me down on how many hours i could put into it, but light at the end of the tunnel now. Its all together, just need to put on the flywheel, clutch and a few other bits and pieces, but the engine is built and timed up properly. I have replaced EVERYTHING in it for new, so its now a totally brand new engine! To say i will be shitting it when i go to turn the key is an understatement, so far with engine parts, workshop machine work I have spent over two grand! fuck!! didnt realise it had added up t
  19. heh heh now that is wishful thinking!
  20. I have used both and the A048's are much better for grip, although that was on track not drag, but it should be the same as long as you get the heat into the fronts. Good tyre but VERY expensive to buy new, i usually go to seloc.org and buy part worn ones for about £80 a pair, over the £350 a pair price new
  21. Its normal to get a bit of fine oil spatter out of it, you can either collect it in an oil catch can or just stick a mini filter on.
