How do you mean it will out of puff quicker on a 5e? its got a bigger displacement so it should be able to spool the turbo earlier.

yeah i wouldn't want to run 1.7bar on track, i would be looking for about 1.5bar

I am ditching my current toyosports manifold/decat TD04 turbo and going bigger for the forged 5e I am in the middle of doing. I cant afford to spend crazy money on something like a racetech as i have spent over £2000 on the engine build so far but want some options on what's best. What are my options? A few questions Should i go external or inteternal wastegate? I want a screamer pipe on it Should i go TD05/VF30 or bigger? I want to make about 350hp I don't want spool up any later than 4500rpm as i need it for track use. I was looking to spend about around the £450ish mark on the system a

you need a garage that can do the geometry for you, most garages dont have a clue when it comes to adjusting the camber on the top, so dont just take it to someone like kwik fit as they wont have a clue to do it properly

Hey I have the same suspension, its impossible to set them up your self when you fit them, you can adjust the camber on the top mounts, but they are also adjustable on the bottom by a hole which is elongated. The only way you can do it is to get the tracking done in a garage with laser tools. You can do it by line of eye looking at the wheel to get you to the garage but its near impossible to set up properly. Its a garage job i am afraid!!

Extra Info: Unless an unholy miracle happens from Wossner, my engine build is dead in the water at the moment as I snapped a piston ring assembling my engine and now I cant get a replacement as Wossner have no stock, not even in Germany in their HO. So I am putting my track time and ticket up for grabs as its now very unlikely I can go on track which is a shame. I have got a clio sport, but i dont think they will let me on with that because its not Japanese.

full stainless steel custom made job to fit an intercooler bolted on the front slam bar. It also comes with the hoses you need to hook up to intake and also a blanking plug for optional dump valve if you want to use one or not, i prefer it to recirculate through the turbo for chatter

Like an idiot I snapped a new piston ring when gapping them last night. I had to remove them from the piston and I accidently snapped the 2nd ring!! I was freaking and couldn't believe I did it. Anyhow looks like I have to buy a whole set of rings for 4 pistons if I cant locate a spare. Anyone got a 74.5mm lower piston ring? It's pritty urgent. Craig
