Is it possible to fit a TD05 turbo to a toyosports td04 manifold? Obvioulsy the mountings are the same but i am wondering if there is enough space between where the turbo goes and the block due to its mounting position. Anyone tried it?

yeah that's what I heard too, but paying nearly £200 for somthing that should cost about £10! I'll give them a ring tomorrow and tell them i want to put a universal kit on

Hey My Smart Forfour failed the mot today for having both passenger and drivers split gators, apparently its now a fail and not an advisory. Mercedes the gays dont sell just the boots and expect you to pay £90 for a new drive shaft too! Anyway my question is has anyone fitted universal CV boots before, the ones you stretch over the shaft without pulling it out of the gearbox?

if it wasnt smoking before then it was with the replacement head its obviously going to be something wrong with that head, like mentioned maybe the valve stem seals are shot on it.

The sump does have a dent in it but it doesn't leak, i dented it working on with the whole engine sitting on my garage floor, the weight of the thing dented it!
