How much boost can i safely run on a forged motor with stock head?

Not having a rev counter was a bit anoying! I have binned the boost guage as my boost controller has one, and this also does engine temps so i can bin the other dial too. Only extra one i will need is the oil pressure

As the EP70 doesnt have a rev counter, i have been playing around with the idea of buying some kind of digital unit, the less dials in the cabin the better in my opinion, these do thermostat and rev counter which i quite like. Made originally for motorbikes but the principles are the same and work on any 4 stroke engine. The blue one does display engine coolant temp or oil and a rev counter or the other one displays both at the same time so will probably get that

0.22 is way to close, stick it to 0.8

Yeah i'll have a stab at the TD04 for a while then, i will no doubt enjoy the spool time, i heard on a 5e its about 2.5k full boost Management and injectors next before i get ahead of my self!

Whats the most i can expect to squeeze out of a td04 on my 5e forge build?

I have got a 4efte bottom end I am looking to shift once I get photos, any ideas on going prices. Perfect for forging Its currently a block, pistons, crank, sump and pickup. I was thinking about £250, is that right?

on the brake servo its self, could someone take a photo of it and point out the pipes which are powering the front or rear brakes? and then where those pipes terminate on that brake bias unit.

Cracking effort, love this build! Finally got my 5e coming together, i want to push for about 300hp i would be well chuffed with that. Do you have any recomendations on what i need to run as a minimum to crack 300 on a 5e?

Ok i will try not to confuse you to much, on the GT/Glanza the master brake servo has four brake lines which go into it, two for the front, two for the back. The braking force supplied to the front ones is obviously more than the rears. Now here is my problem, on my ep70 conversion i had to move the GT brake servo to the ep70 and on doing this i forgot to label which brake lines were front and rears, now i cant tell which pipes are which! They all terminate into a box thing on the firewall and its impossible to follow the pipes from the wheel. i think i have them on the wrong way around as my braking force some how feels restricted, could someone tell first on the GT brake servo which pipes go where for the rears and which are the fronts?

Yeah an app would be cool, although getting someone who can develop it is another thing!

Yeah it should be, although running it in is gonna take a while, i heard some people say you have got to do a 1000 miles to run it in!!

In a moment of madness i have ordered all the forged parts i need new. So just ordered the pistons, rods and bottom end bearings and a full engine gasket set, just waiting for them to turn up and I can take the block down the machine shop then to get it rebored to 74.5mm. I'll get them to clean it all up and while they are at it they can polish my crank for me too. Only thing i need then to stick it together is a new sump and pickup (mine has got a huge dent in it!) and while its all apart I might rebuild the head too. Oh and i still need to sort out somthing for the 5e clutch, i want to try and get my 4e flywheel to fit, so will see if they can re-machine the flywheel for me. This is gonna keep me busy for the next few weeks!!

Thanks just had a quote this morning and it was £104 and £12 to polish my crank.

Does anyone know what the going rate is to get my block rebored, how much did you guys pay to have it done?
