  1. Ah emanage it is then, the only bitch with it is that i would need to take it to tuning developments and thats bloody miles from Swansea, but i dont think i would take it anywhere else after reading the work hes done. Hows your car going
  2. Hey Amjad i fitted the EBC to the ep70 tonight, i cant believe how much better it is, before i used to get about 06bar on boost then it would rise with the revs, now i have 1.1bar straight away as soon as it spools, the cars gone even more mental if thats possible ha ha Cant wait for japfest!!
  3. ah thats a shame then as i am on td04, looks like its emanage blue and a trip to tuning developments!
  4. yeah a Lambo for sure, i would give my left arm to have a go of one of those.
  5. Every time i see a plug and play ECU come up, I am always slightly tempted to buy one but i always wonder do they make that much difference over a stock ECU,aside from removing fuel cut and the speed limiter. What sort of BHP gains do you get, I know loads of people will just go yeah man they are amazing my car flys, but I would like to see cast iron proof on paper, rather than the placebo effect of fitting one and telling your self your cars 10x better Does anyone have any dyno print outs of before and after? Someone somewhere must have some proof on paper, I hear the various plug and pla
  6. Yay boost controller came today, have had fun wiring the thing in and then setting up. Car goes so much better now i get full 1.1bar straight away only downside is it wheelspins its tits off now, may have to reduce the gain a bit so it doesnt just dump all the power on straight away New out the box Ohhh my M9 spline tool for my 5e build arrived too and the current disco in my cabin, that thing is bright. Good times....
  7. lol i didnt want to be the first to say it but FAIL!
  8. you will have a blast, i am envious!
  9. nah im not that bothered, i quite like the anodised fittings I juts wish the car shows would come around sooner!
  10. i guess i should have pointed out in bold NEVER brake while your turning into a corner, unless somthing is in your way of course, this is the number one reason people end up in the gravel as it really upsets the car in the corners. Make sure you scrub off all your speed before you turn in.
  11. As its your first time going around your not gonna be going mad, so there is no point. Its only if you get serious about it and start really hammering your car, normal tyre pressures will be fine.
  12. Before I go on track (every session) Check you oil level Check your coolant level check your brake pads Do a quick check in the engine bay to ensure everything is secure, i.e plug leads and everything else Check all your tyres tread and set your tyre pressures lower, air expands when it gets hot so your tyre pressures will increase loads, i set mine to about 25psi before i go on Just drive around the track and learn it for the first few laps then gradually build up your speed, it will also give your car a chance to warm up the car and tyres properly. Best advice i can give is drive smoothly
  13. Hello Mr Wolf This is the only thing on my on my car you can see that its turbo charged. Fitted the oil cooler today which you just about see. Whats hiding in there then Was bored this evening so thought it was time to try and figure out how the hell i was going to get my oil cooler to fit in my already rammed engine bay. After alot of head scratching i finally managed to wedge it in and route the piping, i havent got a clue how i have got it all in!! Although you cant see it its in the same place my intercooler is.
  14. Ah yes but i would also need to part with twice as much money
  15. lol that i did not expect, lucky he didnt snap his leg off!
  16. Ok so just spunked £200 notes on a new boost controller, anyone used the Gizzmo IBC-R? Its the one which also taps into the RPM of the car so you can modify the duty to match the RPM throughout the rev range, im told standard boost controllers can only set one level of duty, but with the IBC-R you can change it at 500rpm steps so reving at 3000rpm your gonna need a different duty level at say 7000 rpm to maintain the same boost level. I am looking forward to getting it fitted
  17. I need a new sandwhich plate for my oil cooler, which ones have people used before on these engines?
  18. Come on everyone get your money out!! Its the first show of the year so would be amazing if we can have a huge stand again!
  19. i still cant believe how much power you can get out of these pint sized engines!
