  1. Mine has got an antilift kit too, hmm problem is that i cant see whats going on because you have to be moving to see it, maybe i can get the rolling road people to look when i go next.
  2. I have been looking for an EP70 to go along with my EP82 but I am really struggling to find any anywhere apart from abroad. Where do they normally crop up or more to the point anyone know of one for sale?
  3. With your mods a basic uprated Exedy replacement would be more than sufficient, about £100 for a clutch kit. Unless you running big power its a waste of money getting an expensive race clutch. I ran a stock clutch with 180bhp for about 2 years with no probs.
  4. I could never find a straight answer to this question looking on here and TGTT, it seems any good branded fully synthetic oil is the way to go, i wouldnt bother flushing it unless your oil is filthy black. If you do just put some cheap oil in, ASDA cheap mineral oil is easiset cheapest way to do it, think its £1.59 a litre!! filll it up, drive about 50 miles then drop it and put your good stuff in. Coolant i have just stuck in a good bottle of halfrauds stuff, i dont think there is any difference between brands, its all the same chemical Ethylene glycol sweet tasting but deadly by t
  5. Hey I know the two driveshafts are not interchangable, but like you said length isnt an issue so you could just change the cup part ito the gearbox, i am not 100% on it, i guess if you count the splines and they are the same you could buy your self a stock set and put in to fit your standard shafts Take em out and count the splines on them and compare the stock ones, think they are listed on www.camskill.com
  6. Its a brand new clutch and also a whole new engine, its doing it on this one and the old one too, so it cant be anything engine related as i have had two whole units put in with the same problem. It must be somthing to do with the driveshafts i think, its the only moving part!
  7. I have always had a problem with my starlet that when i pull off initially the car will judder excessively, almost like a drive shaft is shaking around vilontly, its the same when i downshift when slowing down to a stop, say from 2nd to 1st. It only does it when you are driving gently, not when you rev it (like the driveshafts are not under tension) If i rev the car more than usual when pulling away the shaking vanishes, it only seems to happen if i try to pull off with the revs you would normally slowly pull off with. What part of my driveshaft is fucked to be causing this, or is it somthin
  8. Roof pics put on build thread, also have started stripping my new TD04L turbo to rotate, (the other TD04 oil seals literally exploded and dumped all my oil into my exhuast!!! the back of my car is covered in oil!! Having trouble putting the ring back on on my own, its a 2 man job! That fucker is a right bitch to squeeze on!

  11. Just finished watching bill murrey on tv too, Wasreading into the crash apparently it was a wheel smashing up into his head thatkilled him, part of the wheel strut penetrated his helmet and visor, interesting though how they kept him alive at the scene of the accident, whenin fact he was irretrievably dead with massive head trauma. Some sort of conspiracy there or something!
  12. I watched a video on this on youtube, the guy was border line mental racing. I think they said he would go for gaps that he knew he could never fit in and the opposition knew that so would pussy out and move over, where as Senna would just take the risk and wreck or gain pole! Mad mad man in those Turbo F1's!!, but brilliant, i will have to watch that documentary.
  13. Its £50 delivered, there isnt an ad for it its a parts supplier on Scoobynet goto scoobynet.com sign up so you can msg and goto this link scoobynet.com/member.php?u=115772 Msg that guy, say i was going to buy it from him this morning, but i have passed your details on. Craig
  14. You can wrap mild steel no probs, its the stainless steel which can crack i have been told. Reducing temps under the bonnet cant be a bad thing!
  15. sorted Got one from Scoobie net there are loads on there, got a 2003 one wtih 25k on it for £80, looks like new! found another one for £50 too if any one is interested.
  16. Whens the next one, i wanna get mine in lol
  17. Save your money son and get a GT, no need to put a big loan round your neck at your age! go for a spin in one first and see what you think, preferably a TD04 one
  18. Before spending any money, take your plugs out and gap them correctly, any misfire under high boost is more than likely going to be that. Save your self a wedge You need to gap your plugs to about 0.8, standard out of the factory they are usually over 1.0! Did mine and fixed it straight away
  19. I have been looking all day, the prices on them seem to be totally wild for the same turbo, seen them for £50 and up to £180! I only want one lol, all the ones i think YES, are sold argghh!
  20. I am trying to get my hands on a TD04L turbo for my car, does anyone know of any adverts anywhere selling one at a reasonable price. I need to get one ordered by Sunday, but at the same time dont want to pay over the odd for it!
  21. I think im gonna keep the white bit, been looking at the UK starlet club logo on the first page and think it will look good at the top of it, especially as its black, as long as the club dont mind
  22. Yeah thats your pic you blew up for me Cropped it a bit to fit the full width, but it looks awsome!! mixed opinions on keeping the white on top though, seems its 50/50!
