Its the 90 degree one, it comes out the bottom of the turbo and straight into the front of your sump, what website did you get it from?
-
Since going TD04 i have been having a nightmare with the oil return feed to the sump from the bottom of the turbo. I have changed the pipe to a 19mm to 16mm reducer and even put jubilee clips on it, but oil is still squeezing past the top of the pipe coming down and out of the turbo, it only does it when turbo is spooling, seems the oil pressure is blowing it out past the silicone reducer. Its driving me mad as i cant see what else i can do to fix it, the 16mm pipe isnt a very tight fit and i was thinking maybe thats why, but i cant seem to get a 19mm to 15mm reducer, i can only find 19mm to

As most of you already know im getting my roof wrapped in Mr P.Bear this week, because of a mistake at the printers its given me the opportunity to possibly change the picture i am going to use. I have narrowed it down to these two and also Cant make my mind up!, but the first one would be a complete roof cover from edge to edge but due to the horizontal size, it needs to go side on. The other one wouldnt, but then it wouldnt cover the entire roof. Which one do you think i should go for, bearing in mind how it goes on the roof etc as it will be massive

Thanks -
Was this engine put together badly then and is why its gone pop?
-
You cant run higher boost on the standard manifold without taking out the restriction on it, you will damage a piston if you do, either cut it out or buy an aftermarket mani. Also if you run higher boost you need to have the correctly fueling mods, or again you will hit fuel cut and damage the engine Basically dont fuck around with it unless you have put the mods on especially the actuator!

Nothing wrong with allowing it to recirculate back through the turbo, you will get the chatter sounds and it goes back through the turbo veins. I have been running this setup for nearly 2 years with no problems and also on numerous other turbo cars before that. Its down to preference i guess, chatter or dump sound, I prefer the chatter If its not coming out of your dump valve its most likely jammed, take it apart and check the spring isnt stuck

Sounds like headgasket, have a look under your oil filler cap, is there any creamish residue underneath it?

P.Bear wont be long i promise, mates been on bloody holiday! As for the brakes yes thats what i used last year, its about as good as your gonna get it for the stock brake system with the mods below, but it still wasnt ideal. I was getting terrible brake fade after about 10 mins on track and the brake pedal was getting very soft (boiled the brake fluid), but i was driving like a loon braking late as hell etc. If your not gonna hammer it around track i think below would be the best cheapest option, after that it gets fairly expensive. I am going to have to upgrade the whole braking system to -
I would like to know how to do this too

I live on top of a hill over looking the valley so the view is cracking, unfortuantly though its Morriston, Swansea not Spain lol and i just had the decking done this week, so definetly some beers to be had on there I bought the marquee for the decking too as well as the car, thought it would be good for when the boys are around playing poker! Tell me about it for P.Bear i went down there today to see if the guy was back, hes gone to dubai for 3 days i wish he would hurry up! -
Just bought an awsome events marquee club stuff and track days :)

I got it from Argos, although it wasnt particularly cheap £134, but its really good quality. I put up an asda cheap marquee which was about £20 and literally it lasted 5 minutes, wind got hold of it and snapped it in half!! This thing is really good, the click in bars are really thick and it all locks together nicely to make a rigid structure, its not flimsey at all once its up. It could literally blow away (which is could as its llike a kite!) and you could just go pick it up Here is the link for people interested, its good for parties all sorts http://www.argos.co.uk/stat -
