its got braided lines already, will have to flush the brake fluid and see how it goes

My car passed the MOT today, but its got a brake bias quite bad of about 24%! also the brakes are pritty shit. They havent felt right since i cooked the brake fluid last year on track. What can cause brake bias and how do i fix it, its got grooved discs and ebc red pads but the peddle feels crap, you have to really push hard on the brakes to get any good braking force. Suggestions?

Just got back from the MOT garage with the starlet and got the all clear, so well chuffed. Only thing wrong was that i was missing a split pin on one of the track rod ends but nothing major. So all i need to do now is get my self some road tax and then down to Gotboost for some rolling road fun

Judging by the old grease thats been flung out it looks like its been broken a long time! It doesnt take long to knacker the bearings on the driveshaft once it runs dry. You cant unfortunatly get replacement bearings for the driveshaft from what i have found, so it means a new driveshaft! Pack it with loads of greese first and put a new boot on it, you may be lucky and get away with it.

I am just looking for a garage to do ny MOT now thats not going to mess me around on the emissions, do you reckon you can get me booked in at your uncles garage. I work up in Merthyr quite regular anyway so its not that far away, could pop it in while im down that neck of the woods. Do you have a number for him so i can book it in?

Oil pressure sensor is on the front of the block, down and right of the manifold, or just left of your clutch cylinder, its a single wire pronged clip

think it must be your sound settings or somthing, tried it on my laptop and desktop and its working ok

I need to get my cars fueling setup on the rolling road, where in Wales can i take it, GotBoost are shut until May 3rd, is there any where else, i heard there was a place in Merthyr?

Video guide to setup a TD04 system This gets asked so often (including my self 2 months ago!!) so i have made a video diary of me setting mine up. Note this is based on my setup below and i understand that you can do it via an uprated ECU etc, but its the cheapest way to get TD04 power Part 1. it just seems hit and miss to what garage you take it to for an MOT, im just gonna ask them before i hand any money over what emissions test they think it needs, otherwise its £40 down the pan!

Bah my MOT headache continues, it seems mk 2 GT owners seem to be just outside the "basic idle test" i just read this table on TGTT from monkfish that the MOT test stations use http://www.toyotagtturbo.com/forums/showth...ommon-questions... my car was first registered 1/12/1995 and registered in the uk on 3/5/1996 this looks like it has to do the basic cat idle test, now i cant fit my cat on anymore with the TD04, wont it fail easy now that it wont go basic idle? bah, anyone know any local garages in Swansea that will put it through!!

Ok so the toyosports manifold is actually ok after taking off and inspecting, however no one told me how shit the gaskets were that came with it (wasnt paying enough attention at the time to see the bad fitting!) Have a look at the video, they are awful, just to stop any one else having to go through the same crap of fitting then taking off again, make sure you chuck them in the bin!! Click pic for vid:
