  1. loving the work so far sparky, i'll be looking forward to a passenger ride on track, i'll swap a you a passenger ride in mine I have got the weekend free to fit my engine back in now as my clutch is coming on Friday, where are you living at the moment, i was wondering if i could get get an hour of your time. I sold my knackered engine the other day but realised later on that when i numbered all the pipes in the engine bay, i have sold the engine with the coresponding numbers on, doh!!! I have got a couple of pipes im a bit unsure of and was wondering if you could point me in the right direct
  2. Another nice GT back on the road I like!
  3. Yes it has gone quite, whats happened, last i heard it was drinking loads of oil!
  4. lol you can tell the dedicated people as you get a response in about 2 secs to a new question ;)
  5. Yeah im thinking of buying an android instead of an iphone, seems you can do loads more on them and they seem to be really taking off lately.
  6. I noticed that a handful of people are on here all the time ;), im on it myself quite alot as i work in IT so in the office uksc is always open lol (much better controlling all the net in work lol, you can delete the logs if people get pissy) Wanted to know how everyone else browses the forums through the day, do you use your phones too? I have tried it a few times on my iphone but its not the easiest. Or do you all sit in front of a pc all day like me
  7. Was bored so fitted the rocker, just waiting to get paid on Thursday so i can get the clutch in ;)
  8. I believe this is the one your after http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HONDA-CIVIC-CRX-DEL-...=item483a28c98b im looking at buying one too, does anyone have any guides on making the brackets?
  9. Do a search on it, this topic has been done millions of times! but yes 1bar on standard internals is fine and injectors, the turbo needs to be rotated as the oil lines will be facing the wrong direction when you go to retro fit it to your 4efte engine. Just plull the clip off the middle and split it, this can be a right fooker to do though if your turbo has rusted up, rubber mallet and a vice i used
  10. Is there any particular pipe on the inlet manifold they hook up to?
  11. When taking my engine out of my car i noticed that I did not have any vacume hoses attached to the steering rack. There is a round silver connector with two prongs sticking out which normally would have vacume hoses attached to them. You can see this on the back of the engine bay, down and left sticking out of the steering rack. Can someone tell me where the vacume feeds for these pipes would normally hook up to, please be specific on which pipes they goto (not just say the inlet manifiold ) Cheers Craig
  12. Yep easy Just added pics of my new painted rocker, just need to put the clutch on and im done!
  13. Can someone help me out, for some reason all the threads i now read, rather than the answers being listed underneath each other (so its easy to read them) mine now are tucked away at the bottom in a tree strucutre called "Posts in this topic" and i have to click each one to read them. Its a real pain in the ass and I dont understand why its changed all of a sudden, is there an option somewhere i need to check? Craig
  14. Nothing like the sound of a new engine which you have just fitted!!
  15. Good effor Steve, bet you cant wait to get out in it! Im not that far behind on mine,
  16. Its cock on straight when its bolted up, so the actuator pushes the wastegate arm in a straight line. I have pulled on the actuator when its connected and it feels like it will open it enough. I wont know until i rolling road it though, it shouldnt be long, ill let you know how i get on!
  17. Wow are you serious! I used to live in the middle of town in Swansea and in a terraced street over 3 weekends, change my engine on my starlet lol! Was a right messy job too
  18. Pictures of bracket added i made up from original CT9 turbo HKS mount.
  19. It took about an hour to make up the bracket, but it fits quite well. I used the same bracket of my HKS which was used on my CT9 turbo. Didnt need any welding or cutting, i just drilled two extra holes to get it to fit properly. I will get a picture of it for you tomorrow
  20. These dark nights are so gay working in my shed lol, decided it was time to start bolting it all up on the bench. Everything is nearly ready to go, bolted the TD04 turbo on and the rest of the gubbins. I had to spend about hour half making a custom braket to fit the turbo and the actuator arm on, my HKS had to be drilled to fit onto the larger TD04 wastegate pin. I just need to do two things now before i can stick it in my car, fit my clutch, put my rocker back on, and prey to holy god it works!
  21. I am in the middle of swapping out all the crap black pipes in my engine bay for blue silicone ones, although I wasnt sure if they could be used for the short pipes which run from the fuel rail to the RRFPR. Can i use silicone, or does it have to be rubber?
