I ran my car at 185bhp with a stock clutch plate and never had any slippage, been running for about year and half and no problems. I dont think you need to bother unless you start going 200+bhp.

Just bought a quaiffe LSD for my lucky starlet http://www.toyotagtturbo.com/forums/showth...ghlight=quaiffe was a bit cheaper than new and it also comes with new bearings which are £110 in them selves when you change the diffs. Good times, now i just got to some how fit it!

How exactly do you find out what % cycle your injectors are running at?

Ok so as you know im going TD04, however i have a couple of questions. 1. My car is fitted with a Sard RRFPR and FCD and uprated fuel pump so understand i can fit the TD04 no problems with this setup (when put on RR), what are the main differences doing it this way compared to having it mapped with a new ecu? 2. I am using standard injectors what boost can i run to on a TD04? I am getting confusing mixed reviews on this. 3. I am assuming i can run at about 1.1bar, would this get me 220bhp which im after. 4. As its gonna get a rollockin on track, i would rather opt for safer limits on my cu

If you managed to burst a shock you must have really whacked it, is it making full boost. Probably a leak caused by the whack, check that first. I wouldnt rush into selling your starlet I have noticed as of late there are alot of unsold starlets about at the moment, i have been looking for one and there seems to be loads of them, especially people who have modded them and are asking between 3-4k, from what i have seen hardly any of them are selling! Yes i thought i may have to rotate it, i am fitting an oil cooler with a filter relocater anyway so hopefully this shouldnt be as much of a problem

I am just hoping that the 90degree bend is going in the right direction in comparison to the boost output on the turbo, could someone check that? I havent checked against the car yet and I have been looking at the photos at all angles in work to see if it is the right way around or not!

My TD04 arrived this morning, but the bloody thing has got a curved intake pipe on the turbo, can i still get this TD04 to fit? Bloody pain in the ass and the guy is being a dick about me sending it back to him, i just hope i can wangle it to fit!

ah cool sorry didnt realise you did graphics lol, i just realised that image is 1024x768 which is quite wide, where as the print will need to be quite long and not as wide for the roof, so more like 768x1024 which makes the image look funny. Any suggestions to get one to take up the entire roof but at the same time not look stretched?

Yeah its easy to crop the image and resize it, but if its a big print its best if its a high res pic, send it over to 3craig@gmail.com i think im gonna stick this one on looks like it will fit nice on the roof, probably put some funny gag underneath it lol

Hey I need a good quality image of pedo bear, my friend Ben http://www.hansign.co.uk/ is going to make me a GIANT pedo bear to put on my roof, thought it would be quite funny when im zoomin around on track to see me from the crowd lol. If you can find some good images (have to be fairly good quality to blow up) would be appreciated. If anyone else would like somthing huge printed to put on their roof etc, i can get prices for you. As it says, i need help on how to fit a quaife LSD, I have only ever rebuilt a gearbox twice and it was a complete nightmare and that was with a Haynes Manual, so i am VERY wary of splitting my box without some kind of guide!! Are they easy to fit or tricky?

Can someone tell me where i can buy my self an air filter relocation kit for the starlet, or do you know the sizes of the silicone to order so i can make one up my self? How did you guys do it?

Ok so part of my rebuild involves making the engine bay like nice and shiny, and part of that is replacing all the hoses to coloured ones, silicone etc. However i am shocked at some of the prices im being quoted for some of these hoses, for example viperperformance want £80 just for two rad hoses???? Is this normal? Or do we have a club supplier who can do better, I am looking to replace all the vacume hoses for some nice blue ones, the rad hoses and anything else that thats changeable from the standard black! I also need pipework for a front mount air filter from the turbo, but no

Holy shit hes done alot more work on it since i last seen him!! Looks like im definetly gonna have to put a TD04 in then if i stand any chance of whoppin him lol. Good effort though, love the white painted interior
