  2. Yeah i bought a roadrunner decat from him, never fitted it but the quality looked spot on so i said to Keith i'd be back to buy a Zisco TD04 kit from him. Lately just having thoughts of a bigger turbo, want my car to be alot more track orientated aswell as road use. wish i could comment mate, havent had the car on the road in 2 years so dont know whats its like with no carpet or soundproofing! Most parts bought now though, just finding the time to get it all done!
  3. Shes in bits because i bought her used and abused! So takin the time to restore her to former glory, while adding a choice selection of modifications along the way . Havent done a build thread although i probably should have. Got all the photos of things done and bits bought though!
  4. Arite thanks dude, i think i will go with my initial plan and go to Zisco.. If i can decide what size turbo i want! Ha ive got no carpet at all, stripped out completely !
  5. I have them also.. I love them!
  6. From Aberdeenshire dude! Currently a VW Caddy van , Got a Forged EP82 Quadlight in bits in the garage and a 306 rallye! ;)
  7. Nice motor Jamie, glad to see your in a decent car! ;) . How is that Toyosport setup, any views on it yet? Looked at them but didnt think the quality was up to much? But an opinion from an owner would be better! Also when i stripped my rear, it wasnt black underneath was a shitey grey colour! Fuck the MDF leave it the way it is and get a shine on it Cheers John
  8. Where about in Aberdeenshire are you from mate?
  9. Depends on offset of them aswell does it not? i had 195/50/15 which were 7" wide and an offset of ET38 and they had no scuffing or rubbing
  10. Morning All! Just to see if any of you guys knew, what size of front discs is on a 99 306 Rallye? Getting conflicting sizes, the gti6 being 283mm but i think the Rallye is 266mm. Just so i can order them today. If not then i'll just have to wait till i get home to measure them. Any help is spot on! Cheers John
  11. Ive registered . Was just thinking Hou, i want to buy quite a few items.. but i want something nice to keep them all together, like a Ninja shine carry case or something? Any plans for that Cheers John
  12. I took the glove box out to get to mine. Fiddly but works!
  13. Type of exhaust. It means Stainless steel so its more than likely an aftermarket exhaust of some description. This website is brilliant with alot of knowledgable and friendly people to help out. John
  14. Aye its just tucked over that lip mate! Just have to be gentle with it!
  15. Welcome bud, Ive also got the remains of a gasket set from toyota. I remember seeing this on Pistonheads 2 years ago when i was looking to buy! Looed a smart wee motor! John
  16. Just read the last few pages BUT i WILL be going back to read through the rest! And i have to agree that engine bay is Beautfiul, i thought mine was clean but.... Back to the drawing board
  17. There was a massive debate about setups not long ago on here bud! Worth having a look at, although it may scare you
  18. Talk about going off topic Nazz mate, Fuck engine talk and get that caliper sorted! If you remove the rubber seal around the piston and pump the brake (when the caliper is off) slowly so that the piston begins to show itself. You will be able to have a look and see the piston body. This should be a clean and shiny surface, if there is a ring of rust or its pitted or dirty then thats more than likely why its not working. Polish it up with some sand paper so its nice and smooth again and then try it on again. Be carefull with the rubber seal as they tend to go all soft and tear easily. I did this for the old van because one of the brakes was binding. 1 hour job back down and she went through the test again!
  19. Im far too easily amused!! Red poopie is dangerous though... Should consult your GP
  20. Knocking could be a CV joint aswell mate. Normally there is a hole in the hub to put a bolt to hold your disc in place. My van ones arent in and its fine, makes a squeek sometimes. Nothing trivial
  21. poopie?! I couldnt get insured with poopie either, said i needed more than 1 years no claims. Which is fair enough, i seem to get good quotes from Elephant and im now insured on my Rallye with them for just £1000 Haha thats quality! Dont think ive ever noticed that!
  22. Mate thats not just these cars.. Thats every car. Cant expect to use a car on a daily basis and expect everything to last forever. Some time is needed to work through all these problems and make sure everything is working in harmony before you use it again. Taking it off the road and spending time and money on necessitys is your best plan of action. Mine has been off the road 2 years next month and im in no hurry to have it back on the road till im happy everything is replaced and works together well. My 2p
  23. Gt are 34mm, but id check because whats to say your arms werent changed?! Im still waiting from TM Developments to deliver my suspension bush set...
  24. Roose motorsport mate, thats where i got mine from. Ive got a brand new Racetech braided oil feed/return also if you need?
  25. Happy Birthday China!
