  1. I'm now arranging a mate to come in car with me and film it... Can't believe he's being serious lmao. Not to mention he's about 25 stone (I'm not being nasty about it either, just logical... He must be mad)
  2. Welcome to the fourm mate! Standard internals with the right fueling and supporting mods, most people run 200bhp on the standard turbo no problem, very reliable... I did for a year and now run TD04 unmapped and roughly the same power. Still running strong . If you have a good map the engine can handle about 240 but I wouldn't go past that without forging the engine.... If you forge the engine, the most I think I've seen from the 1.3 is 500bhp? Or that might be a 1.5 I can't remember.... Tuning is endless though my friend!!! 200bhp standard turbo, standard internals alllll day long
  3. YES! You game? I'm a pro frizbier... I was in championships last year. I came 3rd best frizbie thrower in the world. I erm, retired to become a GT owner instead.... I'm now 3rd best GT owner in the world...... I'm pretty shit at frizbie to be completely honest ha! Is there a supermarket near by? I'm feeling a picnic And I'm bringing my fold out stool for the long haul.
  4. If I had space to take my 82 off the road for a while, I'd have an 80 ANY DAY! Get it
  5. By the way that was my 500th post ;) Feel privileged haha
  6. two letters... GT Neh its all personal preference! I wanted a turbo, prefer the looks of the quadlamp GT and they're lighter than glanzas... And cheaper... They were my inital reasons for getting a GT and not a Glanza. If I was getting my first car though, an SR would be very nice... A naturally aspirated version (4EFE) of the 1.3 turbo engine that comes in the GT and Glanza (4EFTE)... Still very nippy and all round good cars. Failing that, an EP80 (The N/A version of the GT) would be epic! But you're going to struggle to find one in my opinion. They're pretty rare!
  7. The experience is deffinately 90% down to who you go with, just like anything.... You wouldn't take your gran to a rave party afterall . My friend arranged it all but I remember our tickets came from "first tickets.com" or something like that... I'm fairly sure he did it direct? We didn't go with any groups anyway. Just went in our own little group . You won't regret it mate! If you have the time, fuel and money I would deffinately reccomend stopping off at paris for a day and night out as well as amsterdam. Its easy getting accomodation in Dam although we ended up sleeping on a car park floor
  8. YES! I went in 2010 and to be honest, FUCKING EPIC is all I have to say really... I went with 11 friends and we stopped at the Le Mans race track for a week, gerrin pissed and enjoying the event etc and then made our way to Amsterdam, stopping off in paris and sun bathing on Dunkirk beach lol. Spent a few nights in Paris and then a few more in Dam. Then we made the drive back to Calais... Thats to put it short anyway lol! Hell of an experience. Wouldn't hesitate to do it again with the right people... I took about £500 and split fuel costs 3 ways with my mates in the same car. I could have do
  9. Haha! You legend Was just about to buy myself an electric polishing kit and stumbled on this! Saved me a fiver ! We all owe you a drink in my opinion haha! First camping event if you're there, you can help yourself to my beers. Cheers
  10. I used a hair dryer and a stanley blade It didn't come off easy lol. Drivers side was easier though... Maybe had less sun or something lol!? Look at my project thread for more pictures mate
  11. ET's Mobile phone? His area number is 0410...
  12. All done. This made a massive difference guys... If you have cloudy windows, sort it out haha
  13. I'd just like to say that this shit does NOT peel off lol!!! I've done one and it looks minty though ;) Doing other one now and will try and show difference
  14. mate £160 for a bumper fix is rediculous. You can get a 2nd hand bumper in MINT condition for that... I wouldn't charge more than £100 for a full bumper respray to factory standard lol. I did my mates not long back (one on the left) and didn't charge him a penny. That required smoothing too lol! Do some research mate. I'm sure a local friend has some decent skills and will do it for at least half that price. Bodyshops can be expensive and some guy in his garage can be just as good ;)
