  1. dunno if uve tryed the aussie forums but theres a few people done the swap on there and theres bits of info scatterd over the forum looking like the ep82 dash isnt so easy put in http://www.austarletclub.com/forums/index....947&hl=ep70
  2. depends how good with electricals u are putting the ep82 dash and full loom in would seem alot easyer but then u lose your retro dash
  3. should be a pretty straight forward conversion u gonna start it right away or roll in the 55hps
  4. not to thread hijack but have u had any luck getting accepted by camskills supplier geo?
  5. this things gonna be nuts what do the weigh normaly?
  6. the blitz down pipes pipes are cast iron so shouldnt of went yellow/gold will most likely just be a aftermarket down pipe so no real need to replace it unless it brakes
  7. quite like the depo gauges how much of a pain in the ass was it to wrap the consol i decided to do ma window switchs n such on mine its a bloody nightmare
  8. its got blitz imblazed on the side if in doubt take a pic and post it up and ill tell ya
  9. well your gonna need a new manifold ( ull notice nice lil power gain with it) but to up the boost your also gonna need some form of managment so u dont hit fuel cut theres a few options with this and your best bet is to read this guide http://www.ukstarletclub.com/forums/index....mp;#entry599389. not 100% sure on boost duty tho. and if its a blitz downpipe u have then nah the blitz is by far the best down pipe for the ct9 turbo there also rare as crap
  10. my local mot garage said i had to get a letter from toyota lol then i said cant u just check there handbook and they guy told he he didnt have to waste his time looking in the book because i hadnt book the mot yet
  11. well the ebay manifolds are hit and miss some people run them months some people the dont even last a few weeks so its not worth the risk if u ask me id stick with the tryed and tested manifold makers like zisco ,race-tech,wepr they cost a little bit more but atleast then u no u wont have to replace it again next month
  12. its likely gonna be something small staring u in the face but u cant see it cause your looking to hard thats what always happens to me lol. did u check to see if the wastegate was sticking? am sure if u dont get it before sunday between u and shorty ull get it sorted and i guarantee the first time u drive it boosting properly it will be worth the wait
  13. pretty sure only manifolds that let u retain the heatsheild are the stock 1 and the jam1s which are rare as fuck so am sure he woulda mentioned it if your gonna up the boost ull need a aftermarket manifold so u dont cause any engine damage id personaly stay clear of the ebay manifolds as lots of people have probs with them
  14. dont no what hes talking about 0.8 being same as 1 cause its jap lol it looks like its the stock mani under heatsheild so ull want to keep it 0.8 at the very max or ull melt a piston cause the stock exhaust mani is shit
  15. v.nice v good to see another ep91 toms bumper
  16. any part of inlet mani to the bottom of the waste gate i dont see how it would work with out the vac line tbh your exhaust gas pressure would need to be like 0.7bar lol
  17. like the very basic spec with no extras at all normaly the lightest due to have no add ons 220 should be plenty i reakon
  18. epic but not as good as the prev 1s imo
  19. just went had a look from a start was an epic build
  20. yea theres loads of threads on here to guide u on what route to take with power as theres quite a few options. dont think it will take much to beat your mate tbh pretty sure the poverty spec s2000 is 1250+kgs
  21. iirc the glanza comes in at 920kgs. but theres a fair bit of weight to be lost in the cars time u chuck out rear seats air con and crap like that
  22. prob wont take long to get 100k likes shame i dont have a facebook tho
  23. good to see your getting it back if i was u id be heading right down after work tonight
  24. as above the emu has diffrent harness depends what your looking for from the car shouldnt have many limitations with the emb if u have a good mapper theres a link to the e-manage forum on on the left of the site ull prob get alot more in detail answers on there
  25. not totaly sure tbh not had chance to get it on the rollers will be 220+ at a safe guess before this i had 5 civics and a crx and most of the "sporty" hondas are great handling cars for the corners. vtec is fun but its nowere close to a bit of boost imo. if your going down the power route make sure u do do some handling mods aswell most people jump right in with the higher boost thinking there gonna be quiker but the starlet isnt the best handling car to start with so whacking more power doesnt help. 2 things ull notice a massive diffrence with is a rear anti roll bar and anti lift kit.
