I missed it sadly but there was a very nice very rare oem 98spec steering wheel. Aparantly its so rare it only came on every 98 spec starlet
-
Aye just gotta keep working away at it and get it sorted let's be honest the way things are going if you decided to set fire to it your whole house and garage would likely be set of fire and burned down to the ground and the starlet would just be sitting in the middle of ashes perfectly untouched
-
My current thinking is to mount it so the pulley is where the power steering pully would be on the same sort of pully the a/c uses ( electrically switched on and off the actualy name escapes me right now) with the charger sitting above the space where the abs module would be run the intake pipe down near the fog light idealy and then I can run the sc's output into my gt28 with a valve in the center to another air filter to by pass the sc Have it spool up up the turbo till its not needed and then have my ecu disengage the sc pully and switch the valve so the turbo isn't having to drag air tho

Hopefully all goes well at some stage you have to have some good luck with the car surely ha?
-
Be Interested to see how you get on with this compound charging mine has been on my mine for some time but struggle to fine someone to guide me in terms of finding the right charger. The premise of making it all work seems relatively simple
-
Aye he I'd be abit wary aswell sound daft but battery on it good and cranking over hard? If the battery or starters week might not be turning that fast
-
I have a oil filter housing sitting if your stuck. Take it you don't have any oil pressure gauges or anything?
-
Aye that's fair enough mines an ep91 and if am going standalone I might aswell move over to COP and have it control my boost and rad fan. Along with swapping out the slower sensors like air temp for faster reacting ones. So time I've done all that id rather just bin the oem loom and have a custom loom made that I can tuck and have looking smart so the ep82 looms no use really. Browsed a few reviews on these and one or two things popped up so shall have abit of a deeper look
-
Ahh dam ha! What sorta cash is In the harness and Is splitting the harness from the package an option?
-
Did Chris make the plug and play loom?
-
Not really herd much on these ecus? What's it like finding a mapper. Also are these capable of runing with Honda COPS and a crank sensor? And controlling boost
-
If its the spec one I had problems with mine the release bearing supplied shit itself after like a week
-
Your some man for his projects ha! I just threw out a load of rear parcel trim for a gt I had sitting aswell. Good to see its in good hands but let's see how long you last keeping it in stock form before you can't help yourself

Think the scene has just taken a turn for the worste. I do nights most the time so Normaly come on here at breaks used to take me a good hour to go catch up on the threads and most was intresting stuff now it takes 10mins and most are either sales threads or looking for prices. Love my starlet and have a good group of guys that are into them aswell I chat with on a daily basis so hopefully the Idoits move on and the actual enthusiast will be left again.

Annoying I just binned a boot trim. Am sure there's another connector possible on one side the rubber grommet where it connects to shell. If am up at my car I'll have a double check
-
I've for a blue timer with harness dunno if its any use but I'd sell it as a whole
-
Can't remember where the plug is on the bolt loom am sure its on the driver side under some trim but could be wrong. Ariel is massively long but if its being binned just undo the 2 screws and pull it out
-
Wings are the same as above just side repeaters are added on the uk specs but I belive you need then in aus aswell?

MIKEY4410 1998 STARLET SPORTIF TURBO--rear cambered terror------
_shaun_ replied to mikey4410's topic in EP91 Progress Blogs
As above a good quality ebc will help to get rid of some spool. Had my fair share of turbos and set ups now and despite being on the hybrid gt28 now I'd have to say the best set up for a starlet is a td04 with a good ebc and proper tune on it. Gives the prefect balence between lagg and power and really doesn't cost more than a decent ct9 set up. -
If u mean ex8 I have then fitted with coilovers and rolled arches and a slight stretch and I get minimal scrapping takes work but they do fit
-
Bought a strut brace off him super easy to deal with and think I recouped most my cost just on the amount of bubble wrap he used! Cheers James
