    That would be the beauty of such an adapter though. as you could use the shims to add or remove camber

    depends on the design of the spokes. i know on my polo running 15x8 et25, i had to run a 5mm spacer (effectively et20) to clear the front caliper also on my mates civic, 15x8 et0 rubbed without a spacer

    has anyone got good photos of the sub axle and axle. so you could look if an adapter would be possible. maybe it is sometihng RW could make up or something

    the problem with 7j et40 is your going to need a spacer to clear the brakes/strut if you think about the way offset works, the higher the offset with the wider wheel the more is hanging over the inside

    it is more of a stance thing, but in say amjads case its functional. as a bit of camber with a wider tyre will probably give more contact patch that doesnt fit with some peoples ideas, and if your just trying wheels or whatever then its better than twatting your rear arches with a hammer (Moorely )

    15x7 ET 20 they also do a 16x8 et 20 which you could have some luck with, but id go for the 7s

    That would answer the deal for me. As its not a fair comparrision Id rather have the GT anyways. BUt the fact it would be properly insured and i wouldnt have to worry everytime you get pulled/MOt time etc
