  1. open your airbox up. there will be an oem intake (otherwise where does it get its air from?) replace that with something a bit bigger, and put the other end where there will be a lot of air intake. front grill, fog light, etc etc. a tip ive read before, is copy something from a b series honda engine. as aparently the n/a engines are the same as the b series, just mirrored (but i dont know how true that is).
  2. on the glanzas, you just have to pinch 3 clips, and pull them out id take the bumper off, then itll probably be pretty obvious what to do
  3. yes mate. crack the bolt off, just loosen it a bit take the circlip off the back of where the actuator arm meets the wastegate pull the nipple on the actuator out the hole on the wastegate twist the actuator arm, longer to reduce boost, shorter to increase. put back on. hook circlip on. take for a drive to check its ok twist nut up to meet the arm. remember, it needs less than you think. ie for me, 2 whole turns reduced it by 0.3-0.4
  4. on something like a n/a, i would go for a pannel with a nice cold air intake. but thats just me. cones get too much heat soak, especially with the inlet mani at the back like on the n/a.
  5. i went through county cars of strood. they were great to deal with would definately recommened ringing them and asking what they can do
  6. so after fitting the relocated air filter, i was getting terrible creep. and after a spirited drive, i looked at my turbo timer (which records peak boost over the drive) and saw this: So, out came the 10mm, and wound the actuator down two turns. so i am now running a much more confortable 0.8 which creaps a little bit, but nothing as crazy as above. next call: plug n play ecu front mount manifold
  7. intake on standard turbo is 38mm mate did it today. if you have a mushroom filter you need 38mm elbow -> filter intake size if its a cone you need 38mm elbow to 45 degree bend to filter size
  8. haha, if your spilling stuff on it reguarly, maybe you should just keep that one haha
  9. thanks buddy yeah, ive been trying to dig it out of my shed to take a picture.

    Need halp asap

i think you answered your own question mate just chop/change what you need to make it fit try pushing the pipes further into the silicon if you need to make just a little bit more space
  11. took the aircon out today. you all know what that looks like also, moved my air filter to the front bumper. just a cheeky shot of it peering through the front bumper happy with it, although i really need to turn the actuator down now, as its creeping boost also confirmed my actuator is an HKS. now the air intake isnt in the way you can see the hks on the top of it. also pleased with how much easier oil changes are going to be without the aircon rad in the way ;)
  12. so im thinking about what turbo i want to switch for il have a civic rad and air con gone, so ill have a lot of room ill have a hdi fmic so will have lots of cooling. so now i just need to think what turbo i want i want something with quick spool. and would ideally like to run 1 bar or over. most the roads ill be driving on are 40 limit. so i want something that will get me there quick for nipping around town (not waiting around for lag) but also something that when i take it away will be happy on a motorway. any suggestions?
  13. his has traction control, which i think helps. - for day to day driving and in the wet but obviously it comes off if your going to have some fun and caning it round twistys is *so* much fun, but the tyes are absolutely screaming, everywhere and it loves chirping into every gear if you shift flat out
  14. see i tried vaseline and a butter knife, is that the same thing? i hate this freaking hose. especially as i got the elbow side on, so i know it fits, just cant get the straight reducer on.... im now dreading having to do my fmic haha
  15. ok, so ive bought hoses and im having problems getting the 51-57 staight onto the alloy pipe ive got the elbow on, but i cant get the straight silicone pipe onto the alloy pipe ive tried vaseline, heat gun, and soaking in boiling water. anybody got any good tips? thanks
  16. thats nice reflection in the paintwork is a nice touch
  17. Same engine though right? Josh's is a Leon. Bobbys was an Ibiza
  18. just bought one 85 quid including delivery, not bad
  19. i have a JD tuning kit and i have a civic rad + fan already jsut the fins are a bit knackered in the one i have, so i will use the new core, with the old fan. and the kit i have
  20. my friend has got one of these (although in 3 door). FMIC Revo Stage 2 Full stainless steel turbo back exhaust Coilovers about 300bhp he says my other friend had one of the older ones absolutely slammed, revo stage 3, ks03 turbo, full smoothed (door handles etc) dynoed at 340 horse power These things are rapid, and can look so nice when done well.
  21. thats a bid auction. what is a fair price for a half size alloy rad?
  22. I thought because the Civic ones were twin core (the starlet ones only being single), that also helped to balance it out? well, im freeing the space up, planning to fill it haha.
