Some prick smashing into cars on my street.
turbo Grant replied to aaddzz123's topic in Lifestyle General
Some black KA crashed into my old GT whist it was parked up at college. and I was inside. Not a good feeling walking up to your car and seeing the front end smashed in. Luckily it was parked next a schools gate and had the reg of the KA and what had happened on my windscreen. Went up the next day to take some pics and the skid marks going towards where my car was parked were about 25m long. -
this thing is a pain to get parts for, should have just gone to toyota haha
-
shout sell quick for that. the prices have droped a bit since i got my first GT few years back now

Just thinking have you got all your earths on. Sounds like you are back feeding the lights. Almost like you have lost the main earth to the relays in the fues box. You should have some earths round by the coolant overflow bottle if I remember right. And down behind the plastics on the passenger side foot well on the left. One up buy the ecu I think. Can't remember them all -
Be worth the wait. Will be good to thrash once done and no worrys

X-mas come early haha. I love opening boxes with shiny things inside that mani's going to look bad ass coated. What what colour you going for?
-
It will be fine then. It can't get past the seal
-
Haha yeh forgot about that one. Will defo need a clutch pedal
-
As long as its feels tight still. Should be ok. Only one way to find out. See what it drives like. From memory it's only a tiny pin so it would have just snapped.
-
Yeah you will need to remove the pin. Was a few years since I done my ct9
-
Looking smart, I'm going to cut my rear floor out. Won't be this year as I can't be assed haga
-
Might need a loom and tps back plate as well. The tps sensor is different on the auto. But you would need a g-box, cables, shifter, ecu never done the convertion so don't know for sure
-
Old shorty was eyeing those wheels up as well. He need a set for doing off roading on. GT looks smart with the white wheels on
-
This did look smart at JAE. Savage GT
-
I left the pin out when I done mine. Just simply release the pressure in the c-clip and spin it wound. Never moved once o rotated mine. Presume you are external gatted or do you have a bracket for the actuator

Quick question from a newbie :)
turbo Grant replied to RedlineShifter's topic in Drivetrain & Transmission
Best to drain the oil. Saves making a mess. A gear oil change will improve stiff gears -
