I will be making a cell next year and cutting my rear floor pan out. Just keeping the standard as it works and keeps the weight down low. If I was to do all that I wanted too, the car will not be done soon haha

Lots of hoses and a refreshed block getting a bit nippy fitting bits now. Good to see you keeping the updates coming

Forgot I'm doing this at the moment. Just giving the tank a luck of pain as they do like to go a bit busty. Even under the paint that looks good. Done a bare metal strip of the tank. Just need to plug some black on after a couple of costs of primer
-
Not much going on with this right now. Never seem to find the time to do any thing to it bit got loads to do to it. Been collecting a few parts since I've had it. Just smoking it around as you can see Only does it on start up so peons the valve stem seals. It get red lined every time I drive it. Will be pulling the engine out at some point for a rebuild then boost

I know I've been looking at the passenger side pipe but it would take some work to get it shorter. The main reason is the rad is right in the bloody way. I might come up with a cunning plan tho?

You must be so close to turning the key and firing her up. That's when the all the hard work you have put in comes real The seat will be we'll comfey when it's all retrained looks a bit like the seats I have for mine -
Cheers guys and like wise nest. Havnt seen your new beast in the flesh yet

Might as well keep the updates coming as I'm moving quite fast now. Finished making the hot pipe up, also welded some AN fittings to the N/A rocker cover. Made a start on the fuel swirl pot. Will be running a bosch 044 pump. Probs wont really need a pump of that size but it will do no harm. Just be noisey haha Waiting on some roose hoses and joiner that should be with me tomorrow

Looks good like a nice example. Don't wory about not having a rear wiper you only need front wipers for mot

Private road haha Might be worth seeing if you can bolt a GT speedo head in and swap the dial over -
You looking 600£ pluss for a tig set up

I've used a few sip welders and they are fine for the odd job. I've welded a whole inner and outer sill on an old metro using a sip gasless. With welders you pay for what you get tho.
