Not a very good pic. Just pulled it from google. The bar in the middle it bolts too. Most people remove it when a front mount is fitted. But then the bonnet doesn't shut right and looks like its going too fly up when driving. You don't really need to have it bolted too the bumper bar. But the slam pannel support bracket is a must when using standard catch. It's ok when you have pins .

There should be a bracket that bolts to your slam panel support brace

Looking good. You have to keep these cars tip top for them to be nice to drive. They are getting on a bit now. Wouldn't mind getting another starlet as a daily again.

Loads of times in my old R5 loads of times in my old black GT and once in the paseo and been stopped in a few other car I've been driving too. 2 of the times I got pulled in the starlet was for driving too slow lol

Had the day off today so I clipped my fuel lines up under the car. Also mounted the swirl pot Made it up out of some 100mm aluminium tube

Not that bad a job to get out. Just need to get the filler pipes off. Disconnect the lines running to the front. Drop the exhaust down. The tanks are held in by 4 bolts. Now for my big update...... That's what I've done so far
