cheers guys. its taken a while but id rather spend the extra time getting it sort of how i want it. Got lots planned for end of the year already. the pum is going to be loud but if it goes well i wont worry about that. and there is also a 106 power steering pum in the back and thats loud as well,butdont need to run that all the time. im going to use a stock pump in the tank to lift up to the swirl pot. or just leave the walbro in depending on fuel heating

Got my world renowned bosch 044 fuel pump now. It's a tad bigger than stock pump in the middle and the walbro on the end. Will be fitting the pump at the weekend if I have time. Got the Teflon braided fuel line in the rear of the car now Will be using propped bulk head fitting and custom bosses They will be welded in so nice a secure. Think that's about it for now. Got a couple of other bits I'm working on but ill show them when I've finished making them

I have quad lights on a mk2. I've always thought the stuck out a little as well. I done the convertion on my old GT and thought the same. This is how the green one looks with a frp GI bonnet. Crap pics but you can sort of see it. I would try adjusting the bonnet as said and see how it looks then

You have the vin number on it an that's the main bit. Can find out the model of it off that. On mine all I have in the engine number is "unknown"

If you have a fte head just uses that to make life simple

Bad earth would is what I'd be looking for. Seen some nice green earth points on starlets. The ones behind the plastics in the foot wells are usually the worst

I had a glanza box in my black GT for a bit. Lost about 5mph off each gear with the GT box I used to get 100in 3rd and 120 in 4th

The retainers should be ok for that rpm. Not some thing many people change. Sumo power make light weight titanium ones tho.
